hmmm....well the protagonist is Taro Sakamoto, so he'll get Mos of the screen time. but yes I'll agree, Lu isn't always present. tho there r other female characters who'll come along. who r strong.

Gurl it's a battle show, why the heck would the tritagonist, or at the very least a major supporting character, be written that she doesn't want to fight?

A lot of shounen anime fall into this pitfall of underutilizing their female characters and I'm sick of it, so dont even try to say that it's a you problem.

I guess you're not familiar with Japanese. Shonen quite literally means young boy. Shonen manga and anime are directed towards young boy...so mostly the focus is "males". I dont know why your making such a huge deal out of it. just enjoy the show. and if you can't, there are many shows female protagonists or female characters getting alot of screen time and importance.
the show ain't even about male or female. it's about assasins and all of them are professionals except for Lu. not bit mention Lu is basically a kid.

yes and no. there is not much to explore with Lu. her main motivations are currently keeping the sakamoto family safe and that through not killing. she does have arcs that come where she is kind of in the driver's seat but it's clearly a sakamoto show and most of the times he acts like opm. shin has much more of a connection to sakamoto as compared to lu.
I understand ur "complain" and its true. it's not that show where we can expect much from lu. it didn't go as u expected but u shouldn't blame the author for "underutilizing" someone. one can find different complaints as to why their fav character in this show isn't having more of a contribution. the author has the liberty to do what they wants to do with the them.

and if u want more women action u gotta wait.

Short answer: Yes.

It sucks harder since the author constantly adds new female characters just to fridge them or forget about them. Thats not to say they are bad or lame characters (well, the latest female character is lame), just not the main focus of the series.

To add insult to injury, Shin is not a great MC IMO, but its the one with greater development potential.
