Why not take out all the bandits and free all the slaves? Even if it would be a bit of work to get all the kids to a village, they hey would have the wagons.

Why does he not reveal his previously life's connection to them as soon as possible?

The slave trade is legal in parts of this world, he only saved the 3 because they were not slaves. Freeing the rest would be a crime and he don't want people searching for him. The slave trader can't report him taking the 3 kids who were not his slaves. Rio does not reveal who he previously was because his goal is revenge and don't want them getting close to him. Rio also does not consider himself to be that person, that he only has the memories of that person. These were explained in the LN but left out of the anime.

I would like to point out this is a shit reason, as he is already a wanted fugitive in this kingdom twice over. Once from the start of season 1 when he was framed for almost killing the princess, and then again at the end of the season for "kidnapping" Celia. The entire kingdom is already looking for him.

As always, nothing special. The animation is bad, but that's expected. However, it's is really funny and goes by very fast.

@tarfeef101
This is my worry as well, if they drag it out too long or don't do it at all it's going to make watching this season less enjoyable.

Seirei Gensouki is back and we finally have Celia (*cough Best Girl) in the group.

The dual language thing feels weird but is interesting lol (cant remember if Season 1 had that too?), normally its just auto translates but now it echoes.

I wonder what the objective of summoning the heros are and if Miharu was really just caught up in the isekai-ing by accident. Not sure what to expect this season, but feel like a conflict is brewing up.

At first i don't really remember the situation lol, and need to refresh my memory by rewatching the first season. So yeah this first episode kinda fast with introduction, good thing. And don't forget about the simultaneous translation thingy tho. What's that again with the name? Alright then whatever. I remember having a cool with the idea of spirit and soul mixing, whatever the name means. Then now, the summoning magic become the thing as well, which drags those familiar name to Hayato ears into more complicated situation.

Idk what's goin to happen at this point so let's see what else they get after then.

I’m not sure how I feel either. I’ve mostly forgotten Season 1 by now. The double voices for different languages also need to go—it’s confusing and hard to follow.

Celia made such a big deal about a spirit sleeping with Rio (Haruka). If only anime would stop overreacting to small things like this, it would be much better. But I guess that’s just part of what makes anime, well, anime.

The double layered audio is god awful and distracting AF. It's like playing audio over you as you try to speak. Just short circuits the brain.

@Applesaucey

I agree that it was a shitty reason for not saving the other slaves. I mean, in the first place, he was already a wanted person for endangering the life of a princess. And he had also just kidnapped the wife of a ducal family. Come on! The first crime would have gotten him a death sentence if caught. The second one also. I don't think freeing slaves would get him into any more trouble than he was already in.

But on the other hand, if slavery really was legal, then the kids would automatically become runaway slaves. They would have no status and would eventually be hunted down, unless Rio decided to shelter them in his homeland or the Forest of Spirits.

This is one of the more generic cookie cutter isekai harem shows, so it's kind of hard to remember everything from S1. What's saving this series is definitely the character designs specifically for Celia and Aishia.

That overlapping voices of speaking in Earth Language and Isekai Language was unbearable, distracting, and went on way too long. This is probably the worse I've seen it done.

Also didn't like the inconsistencies and retcon of defeating the slavers, at the end of S1 they got murderized big time compared to what we've seen here. This somewhat toned down version I guess let the slavers live...so I guess they didn't have to deal with the regular slaves, as the slavers still got them?

"Haruto" get cucked by last second reveal character while Rio has already a wife and sleep with his goddess every night, can't get more based than this.
Also the slave problem is so weird, he either was going to riush to all the light and do not have time, or he take is time and help everyone.

Miharu got teleported to the world where Haruto reincarnated. But the timelines are different. Haruto was a university student when he died and reincarnated into Rio when the latter was a small boy. Whereas, Miharu and her group vanished while Haruto was still in high school, and teleported into this new world, when Rio is in his late teenage years. I wonder why it took such a long time for those who got teleported. The time it took was — Haruto graduated and went to university, died and reincarnated as Rio at the age of 7, and grew up to be 16.

That Aki girl was a witness to the promise Haruto and Miharu made to each other during their childhood, to marry each other.

Aki is actually Haruto’s sister, and Masato is their half-brother.

The other two who were with them are probably elsewhere in the same world. There’s a possibility they are the 6 heroes summoned by the Six Wise Gods. 5 of them got summoned, so who was the last one?

Rio doesn’t mention his Japanese surname, thereby not revealing his actual identity. Aishia recharges her mana by sleeping with Rio.

Trying to figure out isekai logic here...

1)I thought Haruto and Miharu were the same age? He saw her while she was in high school, but I thought he was in college? So did they just toss continuity out the window, or did he see her, and then stew over the fact that she talked to another guy for like 4 years until his actual death?
2)Haruto gets reincarnated as Rio and like 10 years go by, Miharu and the other two transport to his present time in isekai world though, rather than an equivalent year to when he was reincarnated (which would depending on #1 above be before he even reincarnated)
3)Haruto gets reincarnated into another person's body, but Miharu and the others don't?
4)Most importantly, Haruto had a younger sister all this time, he hasn't talked to her since he was like 5 and she was 3 and this is the first we're hearing of it?!?!?!?

lol.

I am happy Miharu is going to be part of the story now though and that they at least spent the time to go through the whole "they speak different languages" stuff.

@RainyEvenings Yes, because the prequel lead to all the events in season 2.

@sKyBlazer08 I think someone forgot a very important detail in their recap, Haruto in the normal world has been in love with Miharu since they were both kids. They were neighbours until Haruto´s parents divorced. When he was about to move to other city, Haruto proposed to Miharu. Years later in high school, Haruto cameback to the same city where Miharu was living. He joined the same school as her.
Haruto as Rio rejected a girl´s confession because he was in love with someone (Miharu)
And now in the other world they met each other again, Haruto as Rio, of course.
Of course, we still don´t know who he will end up with, if with Celia, Miharu or harem, not sure.
Personally,I think Miharu-Ryo´s story is super sweet.
@Mione48 yeah hopefully rio/haruto/.... and miharu/(......) can find a happy ending. i also want the MC to choose only one heroine (miharu) to be his true love's companion, even though this series is harem but i prefer a storyline like that

(too many stuff to do, just got to this series)

But... I totally forgot a lot of the first season stuff...

And now I just saw the start of episode 1... and I don't remember if they talked about Mii-chan in season 1... did they?

Cause man... poor MC... this feels like dude got NTR'd right before he got Isekai'd... sadge...

Not only that, but the dude that NTR'd him, is apparently a playboy with his own harem? Which makes this extra sadge...

.

But hey, at least in the Isekai, the MC has his own harem.

But... I fear that at the end... Mii-chan might get NTR'd yet again, since it looks like everyone from Earth is Isekai'd with Mii-chan (or part of her) now inhibiting Aisha that's suppose to belong to MC... now back to having feeling for her old world's companions and calling on MC to go help them randomly.

So while Aisha (who has part of Mii-chan) might stay with MC (obviously as they sleep together, lol)

But the real Mii-chan that got Isekai'd might not end up with MC. (which is Haruto's childhood promised love)

.

BTW, I thought MC was trying to hid his identity by saying he doesn't have a family name... but he still revealed he's also from another world (Earth)?... what was the point of hiding again? LOL...

Additionally... Haruto died as university (19+), while Miharu got teleported as high school (16+).

So... did Haruto not notice that Miharu was gone for 3+ years? or did he simply just gave up and ignored Miharu without ever trying to meet with her yet again in high school? (since I am sure he did finish high school, since he gone to a university later, so he didn't "drop out" due to seeing Miharu getting taken by another dude)

Cause with his reaction at the wagons... it feels like Haruto's meeting Miharu after a long time like he hasn't seen her for years.

Other thing is... MC died and reincarnated at University, but goes into a small boy's body. Grew up in the Isekai world.

But... Miharu and gang got teleported at High School, but didn't end up in the Isekai world til WAY later...

Does this mean reincarnation's process goes back in time, while teleporting is into the future... lol

.

Also... they gave Celia normal Earth cloth... TBH, I like Celia in her cute dress better.

I vaguely remember very little from season 1 it's like I had my memory wiped and it's only because a lot of these isekai are so similar but that's fine, I'll watch it with the mindset that (not)kirito already had a previous adventure.
