| Hamatora. Really fun anime if you can look past that shift in tone later. Also Kiba. Every time people point out the similarities in most newer isekai series, I can't help but to think of that, since it avoids a lot of the things people complain about. Yea the mc is a little "edgy" and its nowhere near perfect, but it avoids all the harem stuff among other things. And they use fucking lightsabers. No one can look at their weapons and tell me otherwise. Those are fucking lightsabers. |

| Probably Moriarty the Patriot and Idaten in terms of anime that are severely under-watched. But I also feel like half of the ppl who watched Tower of God and Noragami immediately dismissed it without a thought. Noragami cuz it's a shounen (classic) and Tower of God because they bandwagon with the band of so-called critics. The other half genuinely didn't like it, but that's cool. It says quite a lot about how MAL and popular opinion implicitly shape our opinions. |

| Houseki no Kuni and Akatsuki no Yona for sure. Houseki is just a masterpiece in storytelling (even if the anime only covers the beginning before shit gets real) and is fantastic in every aspect. Akatsuki no Yona is the ultimate shoujo anime in my opinion. And one that isn't a masterpiece but one that should be more popular regardless - Kaichou wa Maid Sama. Absolute classic. |
