My first three animes that wasn't what was on television was, Highschool of the Dead, Attack on Titan and Tokyo Ghoul. I would say I still very much like the first two, but Tokyo Ghoul has kinda lost it's charm for me. I still very much like the aesthetic and music though.

The first three I watched were Akame Ga Kill, Kill la Kill, and Parasyte, all on toonami. I'm a bit of a baby when it comes to anime, I think I first watched Kill la Kill in 2015, and then Akame Ga Kill and Parasyte soon after.

Parasyte and Kill la Kill are amazing, I've rewatched both multiple times.

Akame Ga Kill, on the other hand, while I do still think it was "good", it's nowhere near being perfect.

Bleach is still my favorite anime of all time, and that's not just rose-tinted glasses; as a younger teenager back then, it resonated with me like no other piece of entertainment had ever done, and it will always have a special place in my heart for that reason alone.

I watched a few things after that, I recall Code Geass was a banger and I loved Lelouch's attitude.
One Punch Man was my first experience watching a truly modern anime with fight scenes that just blew me away.
Death Note's Thriller aspect was so addicting I finished it in two days when I had mid-semester exams coming up.

Those are probably the few anime I can credit for shaping my taste into what it is today.

maybe they're best left forgotten. I see nils airing from time to time, it doesn't look bad honestly. maybe one day I'll rewatch it.

Death Note - still really a great anime, understandable deserves such score as 10.
No Game No Life - i'm not as hype as i was back then, i thought it was really good, and for me now i think it is, but kinda a bit meh now. Still a good anime tho.

No Game No Life: It was like 9/10 for me when I first completed it, it has some flaws but still good for me

Attack on Titan: It is still good, especially the latest season, but I'm talking about the first season. The first season was fine, somewhat interesting

7 Deadly Sins: It was like obsessed with it when I first completed it, it was like a masterpiece for 12 years old me. But right now, it should be considered okay for me, from a 10/10 probably to 6/10, and the 2nd season is worse.

Food Wars: Still loving it, it has some flaws and the ending for the manga was very poor, but the first half is still good ngl, at least for me.

One Punch Man: It's One Punch Man, decent, funny, but nowhere near masterpiece or shit.

Nagagutsu wo Haita Neko - very typical for what the children were watching in the 60s and the 70s (I watched it in the late 70s).
I guess kids nowadays wouldn't be impressed. Me being a retro fan makes me appreciate some backgrounds and animated sequences.
Funny thing - the MC (the cat Pero) is also the logo of the animation studio and appears in the beginning of almost every Toei show, thus I am constantly reminded about my first anime.

Hi no Tori 2772 - that didn't aged well visually (even in my retro eyes). Also all the Star Wars, Star Trek and Disney animated movies rip off moments sound kind of cringe.
Still it has the Osamu Tezuka style, themes and atmosphere. It has this nice quasi mythological feel of all the Hi no Tori titles and makes its story points across.

Kagaku Kyuujo-tai TechnoVoyager - didn't aged that well visually but from retro anime lover POV it's totally fine for 80s TV show.
The main idea (coming from the british show Thunderbirds...which it's latest incarnation Thunderbirds Are Go from 2015 is great) is pretty interesting and epic. Having an intense action about fighting natural or technogenic disasters - not people.
Also this show is the main culprit me having a soft spot for sci-fi and mechanical porn.

Hunter X Hunter 1999

I first watched it like 15 years ago on a local television and I was so impressed and instantly fell in love with Killua.

Then I was able to fully watch the sub like 7 years ago and it was really really amazing.

Then I rewatched it again last week and yes my opinion on it changed - I realized that I liked it even more.

I sincerely pray that I will be able to see the ending of HXH in this lifetime.

excluding pokemon? That's great because i hated it as a kid (so i never tried watching it properly as i grew up) i still am a total digimon anime fan though. watched all the seasons and everything. people should give the other seasons a chance. i'm afraid of rewatching adventure because of various reasons (e.g. dub faithfulness) that i will not go into detail here... but my opinion right now is that some of the later seasons are better than the first season we watched.

my next anime was something like doraemon, katekyo hitman reborn or durarara. i guess they aren't that bad, but the plots are just ehhhhhh to me right now. maybe they just made me pickier about anime... actually right now i hate doraemon so much. a cat who is scared of a mouse? hate it... (or maybe it's a love-hate relationship... he IS kinda' cute....)

Death Note was my first anime and I still love it. My second was Mirai Nikki. I loved it the first time I watched it but now, my opinion is the exact opposite. It's easily one of the worst anime I've watched. I watched Code Geass and Monster after that and I fricking love them till now. My first few anime, except for Mirai Nikki, were really good and 4 of them are still in my top 10 anime.

I started to get into anime in 2016 and my first anime then was Dragon Ball Super. At that time I thought it was the best anime, now it’s meh. The second anime I watched was My Hero Academia and now i think that anime is more of a meme than a anime. I can’t get back into it and probably never will.

1 Death Note:- It was my first real anime and initially I used to think it was the greatest show ever written. My opinion on it has changed now but I still think that it is a good show.

2 Full Metal Alchemist(2003):- I freaking loved this show on my initial watch and I still do. I don't care what anybody says FMA is as good as FMAB.

3 Mirai Nikki:- When I first watched it I thought it was a piece of trash and was one of the worst show I had ever seen in my life and my opinion on it has not changed one bit.

4 Baccano!:- I didn't liked it and was super fucking bored when I initially watched it. I have tried to re-watch it three times now and I am still not able to complete this show. I think the characters in this are too one dimensional for me to care about the plot of the show which I think is actually really interesting.

One Piece - best adventure, everything I want in it (save for the pacing)

Fairy Tail - High C-Tier shounen, nostalgia

Hunter x Hunter - S-Tier shounen, so fun and well-directed

Dbz :not as good as I remember it, becomes a huge mess after frieza's arc.

Naruto : above average shonen, the fillers are still a huge problem that and the talk no jutsu working on 99% of the villains.

NGNL & Overlord : nothing changed, I still think they are the best in the isekai genre.

Houseki no kuni : The only anime I watched so far that I would consider a masterpiece! Other than Haruhi nothing came close to how good this anime is.

Recently I actually rewatched Candy Candy after about 20 years. It was still great. Stupid sexy Terry! lol

Dragon Ball and Saint Seiya I haven't rewatched, but maybe I should 'cause they were pretty good.

My first anime was Death Note. Don't have a lot to say about it. It's still really cool. My second anime was Attack on Titan. My opinion on it has changed many times over those three years. I think only recently I started truly appreciating what the story is about. Having read the manga and seeing the story once more.

> Kimi no Nawa - fine
> AoButa - garbage

I obviously thought they were all good the first time around, but changed my opinion after a rw.

Fate, Higurashi, Clannad, Code Geass, Kimi no Na wa, were among my first anime.

Over time I've realized some were better than how I first thought they were, and some were worse. A few have been amazing, a few have been trash, and my opinion hasn't changed on some of them. So it varies from anime to anime, really, but my opinions have varied in many ways.

I have no need for nostalgia to blind me, they were all either mediocre or garbage.

They were very childish and I don't care about most of them today.
