From what's been shown so far, it seems not much can be expected from the action scene animation. The snippet of Ren and Shirou's brawl shown in the first teaser looked average at best and now we have this derpfest. I wonder if the anime can get by on other merits -- Dies is pretty action heavy so it is a pretty major potential flaw. Atleast Reinhard still looks fabulous lol. |

| Let's all be honest, though. Did anyone expect this adaptation to be anywhere near decent? Adapting it any any way was going to be a challenge to begin with, especially considering how verbose it is. And a lot of the series' splendor is lost if you take away that flowery language. But getting saddled with ACGT to boot. Well, maybe there's a chance it does well to warrant a Kajiri Kamui Kagura sequel, but I'm honestly not that hopeful. |
