If you are looking for a sad anime, then watch AnoHana, it is really cute, and really sad. Those 11 episodes are totally worth it!

If you liked Angel beats and Anohana I'd recommend Clannad. It's by the same company that created Angel beats and it's a beautiful masterpiece, especially the second season. Clannad is definitely one of the best anime I've ever watched

Monster, Death Note, Steins;Gate, and Fullmetal Alachemist: Brotherhood are my four 10/10 anime. I think everyone should at least give them a try.
Always take into consideration that I suck at getting my point across correctly within the first few edits... please.

A somewhat well known anime that I'd like to recommend would be Tokyo Ghoul. It has gore and a very dark theme. Gripping plot and excellent animation and production.

Another anime I absolutely love is Brynhildr in the Darkness. It has a nice plot with a bit of romance and occasional comedy. It's light and fun to watch. In addition to that, it has some absolutely awesome lines.

I really recommend Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo because it's a rom-com that goes pretty deep on some topics but there's also some comedy and romance in there to keep the balance between happy and sad times. I think it's a more unique rom-com that you should give a try! :)

I recommend The Disastrous Life of Saiki K/Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan. It's a light-hearted comedy and slice of life about a psychic with all the powers imaginable. There is no plot development, so it's purely focused on comedy. After a few (5 min) episodes, I'm sure you'll be laughing :D

Your Lie in April

Kokoro Connect

Ore Monogatari:

Monster

ef; a tale of melodies. Note watch ef; a tale of memories first, because ef; a tale of melodies has spoilers for memories.

Gakkou-Gurashi (Don't read the genres or summary for this one, spoilers everywhere). It's best going in not knowing what to expect.

Flip Flappers: Nothing oh my gosh so amazing, but just something to nice to watch.

Orange: There were one or two things that I didn't like, but for what it was, it was pretty good.

Psycho-Pass. But note only the first season. There were one or two things that I liked in the second season, but the first season is way better. (In my opinion).

Cowboy Bebop; Watch movie before finale

Your Lie in April

Ore Monogatari

Psycho-Pass: Only the first season of Psycho-Pass. Skip the second season.

Monster: A slightly longer yet slower paced anime. (Although not as long as some anime out there).

Daily Lives of High School Boys.

Akatsuki no Yona read the manga after you watch it though because freaking cliffhanger at the end. No second season, why!

Kokoro Connect: I can see some people not liking this anime, there are some problems with it, but I love this anime despite the flaws.

I will only recommend Baccano because this ANIME IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. YAY!!!! Some people will like this one and some will not. I for one love this anime. My all time favorites. It has mafia, new york accents (dubbed), alchemy, and blood and gore. What is there not to love?

Some people have already suggested this, but watch Natsume Yuujuncho. WATCH IT. It's a good introduction to Japanese culture and folklore, and it's my favorite anime ever.
I'm surprised that no one has put this up, but if you want a sweet fairytale romance you can try Akagami no Shirayukihime.

If You're like Fantasy and Supernatural Type Animes then you should watch Sward Art Online (Season 1 nd 2) , Log Horizon (S 1+2) , Danmachi S1 , Seven Deadly Sins, No Game No Life (lil bit same) , ReZero (it's also same but lil bit hazy to understand firstly)

If you into action with romance then you should watch

Twin Star Exorcists- Its really an under-rated series. The MC goes through solid development as the series progresses. The episode 1 Rokuro (Male MC) and episode 50 Rokoru are like two different persons, trust me on this. If you like romance, this one will really give you the feels. Battle scenes are good too. Seasons - 1 Episodes - 50

Darling in the FranXX- This one is ongoing with 9 episodes till now but this one has really good potential. The battles are good as per visuals. I highly recommend. Airing - 9 episodes

Guilty Crown- How can I miss this one when talking about romance induced action. The two arcs of the anime covers both happy and dark themes. Fights are good. Seasons - 1 Episodes - 22

Sword Art Online- And of course, SAO. None of the above animes cover a love story between the two MCs better than this. I know many have watched this already but it would really hurt me not to include this one here. Both MCs are strong and badass. The supporting characters are great too. Fight scences are really awesome. Its a complete package. Waiting for SAO 3 now... Seasons - 2 Episodes - 49 + Movie - SAO Ordinal Scale (2017)

So there, Thats all the ones I recommend for now. Even though there are a lot more but I would have to sit here all the day to cover them. Anyways have fun!

I think for the comedy and action genre "Assassination Classroom" provides the right environment for newbies to get into anime and enjoy it to the fullest and since the concept of this anime is so unique people will not get bored easily as with many other anime which have repetitive storylines and many cliches.

I second that. AssClass is one incredible anime, you'll definitely like that teacher.
Those who can't do what they have to when the time comes for action will find their presence fading in our classroom. An assassin who neglects to sharpen his blade is no assassin at all. He's just a boastful brat swinging around a rusty sword.

I couldn't recommend an anime more than Tiger & Bunny. It's an original story, with an incredible cast of original characters. The concept of the setting is very creative, and the story unfolds in a fantastic way that'll keep bringing you back for more.

The show is also heavily sponsored, so there's plenty of budget to go around. Fight scenes are extravagant, colourful, and very fun to watch. And to add, the characters themselves are diverse yet very enjoyable. They bring the right kind of comedy to a high-crime, intense-action city of craziness.

With shows now available like My Hero Academia, or even One Punch Man, I feel like Tiger and Bunny still finds a way to stand out, and in many ways come out on top. I really recommend checking out. Forget All Might, it's time to worship the true king of heroes-- Sky High!
