| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So. Ep 5. - They made the creepy dream even more creepy by adding in Ninaxander. It seems that this time, the current director perfectly understood just HOW the reminders on past stuff should be done. That is, like in manga. And he even managed to create an anime-original example of that ! - Lior scene remained there, just like in manga and hell it was even expanded upon. Me likes. =D - Great facial expressions for Ed this time. - Great directing with "rain-tears" for Al. - As well as Ed's reaction(series of facial expressions) to Scar. - Damn great animation quality for the action-sequences. - Great time for eye catch and adverts -.- - Bye bye automail. - Mustang to the rescue...or not....I always lol at that and Hawkeye =D - Armstrong! *flex* *flex* - Epic fight. - Epic reactions... - And so he escapes. - Epic facial expressions yet again. - A small flashback to Ishval. Great direction yet again. - Winry ! - Next ep seems to cover Marcoh and maybe start of the "Home". Overall really great episode. inb4"omgpacing"^"omgrushed"^"omgfma1didliekbettar" newbs. |

| Scar was pretty scarry. And Liza Hawkeye was pretty awesome of all those soldiers she was the only one shooting lol. Mustang getting his ass saved was pretty fun also. I didn't like the whole lior thing. Since you know the voices for the homunculeses suck. Best FMA: Brotherhood episode jet. Nexy episode Winrey ftw! |

| Good episode, I had fun. I was kinda weirded when I heard Envy's new voice, trying to rack my brain. Then I remembered Kati. Gotta love Armstrong too, how do you mess with artistic alchemy? That dream was creepy as all hell too. Can't wait for Winry next week, damn |

| Best Brotherhood ep yet!! Armstrong is even better in this one, and the Hawkeye/Mustang scene was priceless. Envy makes an apperance, and Next is Winry...YAY!!! Winry FTW!!! Urahara Out!! |

| Eh, that was an okay episode. So far this is the only part where I prefer the first series more >.> Oh well moving on~ And although Envy's voice was changed it doesn't sound much different to me :/ |

| That was a good one.I was waiting for that dream it was creppy just like I thought.Rıza "Why did he take his shirt off" xD . Epic episodes not even started and animation just amazing it will be very nice to see "Pride" with these animations. I just cant wait for others . |

| freaking amazing episode. I loved it... maybe now all the people that keep thinking that this season will be an exact reanimation of the first one will shut up :) j/k Armstrong v. Scar fight FTW Scar seems so much more badass now. <3 Hawkeye Can't wait for Winry! I personally think this is how Bones should have done it in the first adaption, but it is understandable that they fluffed some episodes to give a little clearance from the concurrent manga at the time. Either way I am really enjoying FMA2 now! BTW anyone still looking for the subs I would go with Eclipse. I was on the SS forum earlier today and read that they are suspended till further notice because their FMA translater left and the Sinshen Subs Sucks subs are meh... |

| This was a really good episode. I'm pretty much in territory where either I have forgotten, or am totally unaware of, so yeah. Direction was heads above previous episodes. I wish they would stick with the sepia tones for the rest of the show. It fits so much more, and takes the bright edge off of the sd character design. The episode slowed down a little bit with the Ed/Scar exchange, but it picked up once Mustang came in. I was a little surprised about Al's reaction to Ed in the aftermath. I don't remember him being so direct (this is a really good thing) and aggressive with Ed, so I enjoyed that tons. I will say that I was a little caught off guard by Ed being so affected by Nina considering his reaction in the last episode, but it made sense given the dream sequence. |
| Really good episode. The fight scenes were very well done. Armstrong is hilarious. And the impotence joke was good. Ed was quite brooding, I guess that makes his character interesting. Armstrong and Hawkeye were clearly the most badass characters of this episode, closely followed by Scar. I dunno about the jokes right after the fighting. Yeah a joke or two is nice to lighten the mood, but they were really heavy on the humor attempts and it seemed a little much. A quick action hero one liner would have done, not two separate routines. But still, overall very good episode. |
| I enjoyed it! i lol'd at Mustang. You know at the halfway mark in the episodes how it says "Fullmetal Alchemist...Fullmetal Alchemist!!" I cant help but smile. The way it sounds is just funny to me.. Just wanted to put that out there. |

| Very good episode i thought, stuck to the manga perfectly too. Probably the best yet as well, pacing was just right, the fight scenes where great, humour was done well and the dream at the beginning was just right. It brought out the exact reaction it did in the manga, and thats what it needed too, The characters are all developing the way they should be. Next up Winry, i can remember some of the comical moments in this as well, so hopefully they don't miss any of it out. |
| The best episode thus far by a considerable amount, which unfortunately isn't saying a great deal. It's also the only one not to feature jokes about Ed's height. Coincidence? |

I agree. This episode and the last one where far better then episodes 1-3. I can only hope they continue like this. |

| Great as usual! I swear, the art gets more beautiful with each episode. I really like Envy's new voice. It fits him well. :) I also really liked the one shot where we see the rainy sky as if we were looking through the eye hole in Al's helmet. I just thought it was a really neat perspective. Armstrong was awesome as usual, and who doesn't love the "you're usless in the rain" joke? XD And the fangirl in me was happy to see Havoc again this ep. <3 Looking forward to Resembool next week. |

| My favourite part was probably when Hawkeye kicked Roy just as Scar lunged in for the kill. Facial expressions were priceless! So well done this time round. |

| Awesome episode xD We finally got to see Scar in action, some more Armstrong action and Hughes's funny expressions ^^ and lol@ the moment when Risa said that Mustang is useless in the rain and he got kinda depressed XD I really like how this remake is turning out :3 |
