| This is something I'm curious about, so here we go. Let's say that you logged into MAL and you see that a current moderator has offered you a position as a "Forum Moderator". You satisfy all the requirements and it's simply a matter of whether you accept or decline. So if offered, would you become a Forum Moderator? If yes, do you think you'd be a good Forum Mod? Also, how long do you think you'd be a Forum Mod before you decided to resign. Personally, I'd decline. I doubt lurking on IRC and answering reports all day would be entertaining. To current and ex moderators if I may ask, what inspired you to accept becoming a forum moderator and why did you moderate for as long as you have? Please note that this isn't the thread to advertise yourself to the current moderators |

| Uhm. I'd probably fail in my responsibilities to patrol anything other than casual discussion & anime discussion. The most I would end up doing would be editing posts to spoiler quote stacks. So, only if I was given a hand-wave for doing little to nothing as a moderator. Which kind of defeats the purpose anyway. Edit: Your avatar confused me and I thought you were Mellow. I feel betrayed. Edit2: I feel like I would edit posts and correct the writing mistakes too. |

| I've moderated on forums before. I'd probably enjoy it but I'd end up wasting even more time on the internet and I'll be dragged into whatever cosy mod sub-forum they have here. So, no. |

| If you'd have asked me a couple of months ago then I'd say "probably", but now.... I'm not sure I agree with the way in which the site is moderated. That would be a problem. I could just go an moderate the anime forums I suppose and keep away from CD and FG, but that'd be a waste considering that's where I spend most time. |
