| Lol, looks like the "advanced navigation" will be in the form of a Kraken for the Strawhats. And I absolutely loved the reappearance of Mammoo. That was totally out of the blue. I wonder if Hacchi knows he's around? |
I was a little bored by all the ocean current talk, but I guess it had to be explained. Wasn't expecting another cameo from Arlong's former crew either. That poor traumatized sea cow... Definitely looking forward to Luffy taming that Krakken in two weeks. >:-) |

| Ah, loved the chapter. The Kraken taming's gonna be awesome, for sure. Also, the Kraken resembles the octupus from Strong World so much it's almost funny, in fact. It IS funny. And seein Mamoo again realy took me back, maybe as much as it did the strawhats^^ |

| Imagine when this gets animated, alot of dialogue, still loved their reactions while Nami was trying to explain it, have a nice warm drink lol. Well going by what Luffy said, its obvious the new nakama will be the kraken lol. |

| Caribou getting in the crew didn't even cross my mind until you guys started talking about it. That's totally unlikely, but he's probably bound to stick with them for a while now, and I guess that could be quite funny. But seriously, could you consider Caribou a member of the crew in the long term ? I mean, a color page with Caribou laughing alongside Franky and Zoro ? Unlimited Cruise 3, with playable Caribou ? Caribou cosplay in conventions ? The Kraken is actually more of a possible nakama. Can't wait to read its flashback. |

| caribou is going to be one of those "temp" characters that tag along for a while, kind of like vivi, hachi, etc. i still hold on to my belief that perona is hiding in the ship storage or something and is going to pop up any moment now. and 200 mil apparently doesn't get you much these days? caribou seems pretty disappointing, thought he was a formal side villain but ehhh |
| Caribou joining the crew? I extremely doubt it. He's kinda unnecessary... Plus I dont like him. I liked all the characters before they joined the crew. Anyways I like how Zoro was bout to start talking about what happened when he was training and then they just cut him off. I really really hope Oda shows us a bit more of their skills next chapter. |

If he does, it will be a very temporary thing, instead of leaving him somewhere, he may stay with them for a bit (since he is stuck with them), but I really don't think he will become part of the crew. |
| Caribou will not be joining the SH crew....how do I know this....it's simple, he's just damn ugly and no miracle facelift can overcome that...the kraken has better odds at winning a seat then caribou he serves no purpose...not even comical(well apart from being a punching bag) as for this chapter, whilst it was informative and much needed just like with skypeia arc, i still found it kinda boring....really can't wait to see this all animated and I bet the studios already has an OP for this new arc called 'Shinsekai' |
| Great ending . Release the Kraken ! Man I hope after Luffy "tames" the Kraken it will get the Chopper title of the crew's pet. How awesome it will be if a huge Kraken will follow them everywhere from now on ! |

| While I shouldn't be surprised by either Nami's wealth of navigation and weather knowledge or the existence of the kraken, they are both utterly amazing. That kraken was HUGE! Nevertheless, There are probably some beasts of comparable size in the deepest parts of the ocean. Also, Luffy is even more amazing than the kraken for his reaction to it. |
