7 years of wait, In a moment, feeling not reciprocated, left vulnerable, easy to manipulate. To put it simply, a love story went wrong and now we enter the final stage(?) of "Yokurata" plan.

I can't believe my deduction was half correct. Yokurata IS Prof Ingmar, but things had went out of control, Amoru have grown up, but she's still lack of maturity, didn't she learn not to accept offer from strangers and being selfish on Yoiyami. Next preview, you can see Akira is holding the hand of the REAL Akira. And Akira is possibly planning to transfer Yuugure's consciousness into Amoru's body.

I still can't wrap my head around how bad this story turned out in the end πππ Yokurata had lots of chances to get the information from Yuugure about Towasa when she was in sleep mode but suddenly he decided to take advantage of Amoru and give her Yoiyami's body and use her to get to Yuugure. I just don't get it. Crazy writing !! And is he the same Ingmar or just his consciousness in a different body?? And why does this creep want to know about Towasa's whereabouts !? They said that the original Akira isn't alive anymore and in this episode suddenly we come to know that he's still alive and Oboro being the OWEL's director.. not so surprised about that. I don't know how this will end next week but it's good that this shitshow finally comes to an end.

This show is a disasterclass in how to fumble hype and potential. I thought this was going to be an all timer from episode 1 and it’s one of the biggest flops I’ve seen this decade, good job PA works. Treating Amoru like an emotional punching bag and joke the entire series just to use her as one of the big villains at the end? Akira and Yugure completely ignoring her feelings and how lonely she must’ve felt in those 7 years? Fuck you. The montage of Amoru sitting by their side EVERY DAY FOR 7 YEARS and taking care of Yugure and Akira’s bodies while they were in their coma broke me. This girl dedicated her entire life to them just for them to come out and act like nothing happened. This dumbass talking about some “I don’t get why you wasted your life on us” BITCH BECAUSE SHES IN LOVE WITH BOTH OF YOU AND HAS MADE THAT CLEAR FOR YEARS. This world has a well established system of polyamorous marriage and the show had already been nudging us in this direction so what’re we still asking such stupid questions for? The Yokurata twist I saw coming from a mile away so that’s not shocking. I called it out a couple threads ago too. What’s shocking is how stupid his plan to use Amoru in Yoiyami’s body is. First of all, there’s no way he calculated all of this to the point where he’d know Amoru would be depressed enough for him to capture Yoiyami and use against Akira and Yugure. For two, he literally could’ve just got Yugure’s memories while she was sleep for the last 7 years. dumb. Using this girl who’s done nothing but love on the two leads as the villain is horrible writing. Fuck this show. Then all of a sudden Akira is still alive?? Like who was writing this?? I knew the taxi dude was gonna be someone important, didn’t think he’d be the OWEL director this whole time. Makes the fact OWEL agents have been chasing them the entire series that much more stupid. What a fumble of a series and waste of some great character designs. P.S: S/O to Hakubo for being the only person to fully understand everything Amoru went thru and making sure Akira and Yugure at least thanked her. The fact they needed to be reminded at all says all you need to know.

So, my hunch was right. That blue haired creep was a scumbag all along. Tbh, not surprising at all, I never trusted that b*stard to begin with. And once again, thanks Amoru for being a top-tier blinding braindead. I swear, if Yuugure dies or anything, it'll be all for nothing. As the plot's moving conveniently for the worse, the question hinges with the last episode now: "Is it going to become a completely utter trainwreck or something barely redeemable?"

There is certainly hope for a second season, but I'm not sure if there will be one. In general, Amora is a tragic heroine: her parents were killed, her first love was unrequited, and then it turns out that this love was a defective android that she had been caring for for seven years, and after it woke up, it couldn't understand human logic and just went about its business. I hope it at least ends with a happy ending.

Well considering the kind of info that he was hit with sleep mode would be expected. Amoru sure is going all out in helping them. Yugure and Akira literally spent years plugged in wow. Its sad that after waking up they treat her like an outsider though. Oboro has to be the most carefree director ever. The true villain being by your side the whole time is a pretty old troupe but here it was used perfectly. Man he sure ended up messing Amoru up massively.

I actually liked how this episode started, specially with Uru's insert song. I thought I was having major deja vu watching Amoru, reminded me of Rem but should have known not everyone can be as selfless as her. This took the most boring cliche route to wrap things up. Ehlsea or whatever really became the end of her.

Wow, so Akira and Yuugure spent 7 and a half years during everything that happened last episode? That's quite a big time skip! And during all that time, Amoru took care of them, that's some real dedication. So her crashout over the fact that those 2 came back even closer, making her feel even more out of place is honestly valid. But turning to be the villain now is a bit too much though. We also got the revelation that Yokurata was actually one of the six sieges, which is really surprising. He's also a bad guy, but that isn't so surprising. I just don't really understand how he was able to keep being alive, and apparentaly so young, since the real Akira certainly doesn't look that good (and it was hinted in the preview for the next episode). Now, this episode suffered from P.A. Work's typical problem with their original anime, that is not having enough time to make the anime breath a little. All this was revealed in a single episode, without much time, for example, to build up Amoru's feelings or making it sink the amount of time Amoru spent taking care of those 2, all alone (nor did they gave that much importance in the anime too). If they spent less time on those random side stories they had in the middle of the anime, maybe things could be going different now. I feel like this episode had a lot of potential with its ideas, but they sometimes feel flat and inorganic, due to just how fast the pacing is. This has been a problem for the whole 11 episodes in all honestly, but it's in episodes like this one that it hurts the most. Once again, this anime proves it could be much better than what it ended up being, since Amoru as a character could have been much more well developed prior to this episode. At this point, I'm really curious to see just how this anime is going to end. We only have 1 episode left, and we got the Akira reunion with the real Akira, the whereabouts of Towasa, the resolution of whatever is happening with Yokurata, and the end to this conflict between Amoru, Akira and Yuugure. Yeah, it's going to be a really fast paced episode. In the preview for the last episode we see Akira holding a knocked-out Yuugure, I wonder if they are going to do something drastic for the ending... I'm also curious to see with which message they'll want to end the anime with, since I feel like the storytelling has been a bit messy on that regard too. At this point I'm also really confused to what score I'm giving this anime, watching this is a completely rollercoaster. Sometimes is just so "sunny and bright" that even seems childish, and in the next moment Hakubo gets her hear cut off (fortunately she isn't dead).

Oh, now we’re back to the present again. Last episode they showed that time skip at the very end. Wild. 2:20 wow, so that’s when she drew that painting 3:30 damn that’s actually really touching. The two of them really were out for years. Amoru did everything she could along with the help of the other two to take care of Akira and Yugure. She’s all grown up now and she cut her hair. 5:20 SEVEN AND A HALF YEARS π― aw crap, I had a feeling tho both Akira and Yugure were together that entire time. Poor poor Amoru π’ 8:00 the OG Akira is still alive π― 14:00 damn this guy is really evil. Taking advantage of Amoru’s conflicted feelings like that. 16:10 oh boy Amoru π«’ what has she gotten herself into? 20:00 Hakubo π―π«’ I mean I really feel for Amoru. She put up 7 years plus all before that just watching Akira and Yugure get closer together and she’s left out, but damn she really went to extreme measures just to be with them. Amoru developed quite nicely tho ππ»

@Marinate1016 Potential all-timer is now far away, but SO agree that the plotline went stale in the worst way. The heelturn of yok and accompanying focus on puppy-love amoru ruining akira’s quest of self discovery, cheapened the show, and its just the most recent example. So much of the plot (really beginning after first two eps), has given way /sold out to easy formulaic & lazy writing, or created tropes when they weren’t needed, as to reach. Maybe it’s just a bid for popularity & feels? Anyway, those two eps did give me high hopes as well… Maybe we should rewatch *Rock is a ladys modesty* instead? (my top of 2025) (love your recaps there, btw!)

Uru's insert song to get this episode rolling was really good while we watch how Amoru spent seven years looking after both Akira and Yugure during their sleeping mode as Amoru herself grew into a beautiful adult woman. It's also sad to see her coming to terms about how her love for Akira wasn't going to be returned the same way. So I can see why this episode went down the route of going for the shock factor and it certainly went all in on that front, too. It saddened me that Yokurata used her unrequited love issues to get her on board about making her into an android, which was furthering his own goal while screwing over Amoru, Hakubo and even Yoiyami in the process. Knowing who his true identity and his goal of wanting to find and talk to Towasa is only another reason as to why he needs to be stopped. At least Oboro is a good guy, now knowing what his position is as the OWEL director. He even drove a nice Jeep as well! It does feel rather fitting that the final episode itself takes place in a testing lab built underneath the very house Akira and Towasa lived in. I can't help but think that the ending will feel rushed as there's multiple things that need to be dealt with and also wrapped up convincingly enough.

Akira is such a dumbass.... yes, choose the android that lied to you rather than the girl who sacrificed 7 years of her life to be with you. But in general, it's an amazing episode, I'd say, though we're getting a bad ending, surely, it would be quite doubtful if we didn't. The last episode is next week, and I'm hyped, to say the least!

nope. that just sucked. total crap writing choices in this whole episode. up till now this show was a 10/10... but that one episode? bashed it down to an 8/10. no matter how original or interesting or beautiful the show was up till ep11... these writing choices mean the authors don't give a crap about this character and just nuked her personality and development and choices ENTIRELY with ONE scene. if the preview for ep12 suggests what i think it was? maybe the writers can pull a fast one and fix it back to a 9/10... but if they can't? i may even downgrade this one further.

| Honestly they did Amorou dirty in this one. I honestly think they love her but are denial or are too fixed on traditional monogamous love. Quite frankly I found this inexplicable reaction to her love to be contemptible. Amorou is by far best girl now in my book. If this story doesn’t turn around I changing my rating from 10 to 1. | Why are people so surprised by this development? Aside from the conniving professor, Amoru's turn seems like the natural course of action, especially after being biohacked. This whole time, she's been a child with an unrequited crush on two people who saved her, one of whom was an android and the other--as far as everyone except Yugure knew for most of that time--was a guy searching for his one and only. Amoru is an orphan with nowhere else to go, a child who is desperately clinging to anything that reminds her of her parents. She's a thirdwheel trying to insert herself between two people/androids who had far more in common with each other than she did with either of them. Her fantasies of an Ehlsea were just that--fantasies--even if you ignore her being a literal child. Yeah, she spent a whopping seven years there while they were asleep, but they neither needed her "help" nor were aware of it until after their digital tryst. It's only natural that this former child, who just spent the past 7 years wallowing amongst the specters of her imagination, would be easily manipulated by the mad scientist masquerading as someone she trusted. Her newfound dark side is born of a feedback loop between her long held delusions and, quite literally, a malicious force hacking her brain. I will grant that this would have landed better if it had been given more time to go from 0 to 60, but y'all are seriously overreacting. A twist like this, even though it could have been executed better, is far better than Akira and Yuugure just deciding to have a polycule with the child that's been following them around. That said, it all comes down to how they handle it and what direction the story takes next episode. I hope the anime sticks the landing in the end; I think the only ending I'd be genuinely annoyed at would be if they go back on this and end with Amoru joining them in an Ehlsea. |

The twist with Yokurata seems quite out of nowhere, considering there are fewer foreshadowing elements concerning him. This is apparent when he doesn't confide in Akira and the others about why he became a scientist for OWEL and left the organisation for legitimate reasons. That's a red flag that suggests he may be an untrustworthy person.

Every few episodes they put something so DUMB in the story it's hard to imagine who thought it was a good idea. Transfer consciousness? If you can transfer it? You can copy it. Have dozens of Yokuratas running around. Would be more believable. 7 years to reboot, but x-fer the entire brain in a few minutes? Riiiight. A big city with no one in it? The director of the huge all-powerful organization doing odd jobs? Nobody knows what he looks like? On and on... like Copellion: interesting post-apocalypse story... ruined by idiotic dumb ideas. Not sure if they will be able to wrap up all of these loose ends with only one episode remaining unless a 2nd season is announced...
