| Season 2 will most likely have the Golden Land Arc, which is probably the best Arc in the series. Lots of world building great characters and the fights are cool. Can't say if it will have the same level of production value, but the content will at least be high quality. |

| S2 could surpass S1 in quality or at least it could be the same level as S1. In terms of story I can assure to you that it gets even better, one of the best arcs is going to be adapted. I'm so fcking hyped!!! |

| I can see its overall score being lower than S1, because S2 will very likely have Golden Land Arc (a very action heavy arc) as its main focus and I can see people complaining again about it. But despite it being more action packed, Golden Land arc is legit the best one in the series (at least until that point, I've yet to read further), and it's not like the introspective moments are not present anymore. So, personally I think it'll be a better season, story wise. |

People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English. |

| I have hopes that S2 will have a higher score than S1. It'll have El Dorado arc, that's very nice, and we will still get some episodic shenanigans of our dear grimoire seeking elf, plus we'll probably have the Goddess monument arc as a closer and that'll be very satisfying for those who miss the first team characters screen time. So, besides delivering everything fans could hope in a second season, it is a second season. Casual haters usually don't pick up a 2nd season (just review bombers) and even people who were legit unimpressed by first season wouldn't probably follow a second one. If it manages to deliver same animation quality, it should be a cinch. |

| It really depends on how many episodes they produce. If they do a full 2 cour, they will have plenty of material for smaller stories with a more focused conflict in the middle. If they only do 12 or 13, nearly the entire season will be one main conflict. |

| Yes, it will probably be at least as good. Of course, it depends on what you like. Also, depends on how good they do, but if it's the same quality as season one, it will likely be at least as good, and for me, even more enjoyable. The story does get interesting. |

| @TheBerserker I delayed reading the manga for awhile for this reason. If they made more anime, I didn't want to be disappointed if it was too different from the manga. But I don't think it will be a problem because they followed the manga pretty much exactly for the first season, and seeing it animated will still be a treat. |
| Everybody will be pleased. There's good slice of life moments in episodic chapters, like S1, but the best Arc will be adapted. Everybody will forget anything they was missing. |

| The S2 content is about the same as S1. Hell, there’s even a very strong possibility that it’ll have the exact same structure as the first season (largely episodic first half -> big plot & battle-heavy arc taking up the second half) due to the way the source material paces itself when it comes to arcs. I think the aforementioned arc, the Golden Land arc, has significant issues, but it’s also much more technically competent in its execution than the Mage Exam, and people who like the manga more than I do consider it the best part of the series, so there’s a not-insignificant chance you & people like you will enjoy it more than season 1. |

| maybe for some people but not for me because my favorite parts have already been animated right at the start, plus i personally don't really enjoy the battles in frieren that much compared to it being a chill SoL. |
