Shield Hero Season 3 is still the third most anticipated, also recent episodes of Shield Hero have been good.

Edit: You said Kanojo Okarishimasu is a Masterpiece, but you gave it a 9/10 (=great). Its cause of people like you, who casually throw around with words like masterpiece, that they don't hold any noteworthy meaning anymore.

I just recently rewatched the first season and realized that I like it a whole lot more than I remembered. I think I unfortunately let the community influence my opinion.

I still don’t think it’s necessarily a masterpiece, but good on you for not letting some randos on the internet change your mind.

And speaking of said randos, I find it hilarious how people get genuinely upset when someone else says that they like this show.

The anime got bombed by people who were upset over its popularity when it aired, over 5k+ 1 ratings on MAL.

When it first aired, the show was massive. It was getting near the top of Anime Corner Anime of the Week Charts and Chizuru was the talk the community. It's just a show with a lot of haters, of course it has people who dislike for legitimate reasons but I still think a 7.23 score with the amount of trolls it has is respectable.

I haven't consumed this series in any way. Anime, manga or whatever, so I can't really judge it.

Only here to say that the manga is still selling very decently in Japan, even though on the Internet it's being thrased more than ever. So you guys can expect a season 3, no matter how this one performs.

And I'll be there to enjoy watching the weebs outrage.

yup! I think this season will be great may be if there will be season 3 it would also be great but if they make season 4 & 5 with manga as source material then I am pretty sure no one gonna like 'rent a girlfriend' ever.

masterpiece?? personal opinion but the manga + anime are NOT good. To be honest, its horrible and the MC is literally the most hateable MC. I dropped this manga just because i can't stand the MC. The plot itself is pretty interesting and the girls are fine i guess. But no this is like a 4/10

I said the Anime is nowhere near the trashy bits in the manga, so yes the manga gets very trashy seeing there's basically a hentai scene in one of the later chapters. For now it's an enjoyable romcom.
