| My very first anime was Nausica, probably about 7 years ago now. I rented it from my local video store and thought it was brilliant! Than I didn’t watch another anime again for over 5 years lmao. |
| I think for me the first movie was Princess Mononoke which I saw on TV. The first series was Naruto which I think I watched on KissAnime (back then it was still reasonable). I probably glimpsed at some other series too, but I did not really consider them worth watching. Thus, I'll stick with Naruto being the first. |

| If I count my childhood, Pokemon was the first Anime I've seen, alongside some Studio Ghibli movies and Ginga Densetsu Weed. Pokemon I watched when it broadcast on TV and the movies on VHS/DVD (Jesus, VHS? Damn it was a long time ago). But, if we start from the first Anime I watched on my own volition after knowing what the difference between an Anime and a western cartoon was, it would be Mayo Chiki, which, to this day, is still my all-time favourite series. I first watched it on some website (most likely kissanime, nowadays I use animepahe) after clips from the Anime had haunted my "recommended" tab of Youtube for weeks - thanks to YT's broken algorithm. I watched it on a whim, but as it turned out, I really enjoyed it, and it all started from there. |

| Well, it actually depends... In my childhood it was Pokemon, but I didn't know it was anime back then. Then before I actually started watching Anime actively (and knowing it's actually anime and not American cartoon xD yes, you can kill me haha) was "Lovely Complex" And my official first anime was "Kuroshitsuji", at least I count it as a "starter" for myself because since that time I started watching anime knowing it actually is anime ^^ |

| When I was little, I watched a bunch of Transformers, Pokemon, and some Bakugan. For some reason around 6th grade I binge-watched The Transformers, Headmasters (first subbed anime I saw), Armada, and some of the other series, but I don't think I realized they were anime even tho I knew what it was at the time lol. Then around the same time two friends of mine tried to get me into anime by showing me the Attack on Titan recap and parts of the second Fullmetal Alchemist movie, Death Note, and Fairy Tail. Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) was the first one I actively watched knowing it was anime tho, which was February 2018 in my room. |

My first anime I didn't even know was anime. When I was four or older I had these Hello Kitty/Sanrio VHS tapes that I loved to pop in and watch on my old TV! Then in 2nd grade, I discovered the joy known as Pokemon and then everything changed and I fell down the rabbit hole becoming the otaku I am today. Btw the Hello Kitty & Friends' & Keroppi's openings are 🔥!  |
