AOT is just perfectly written from the beginning to the end. It's the deepest manga ever. There's no comparison with others works
AOT is in another league. The only bad thing about it is it makes others manga looks pathetic when you try getting over AOT PEAK FICTION you find nothing except cringe Isekais and romcoms for teens. The only one close to peak fiction AOT is LOGH remake (and the original)

I'm a big fan of SNK, I love it with passion, it's a very good anime (despite its flaws). But the best of all time by no means.... Not the best even within your demographic. And what's more, there is no such thing as "the best work" objectively, it is much more subjective in that aspect.

It’s peak I agree. But I don’t know I’ve had a higher high with other manga and anime🤷. All a personal taste tho like my top 5 are mainly sci fi. Steins gate, lain psycho pass s1 etc

It's popular and there's no debate. But Monogatari is deeper (yeah I know it's light novel), Monster, Vagabond and many other are tiers higher.

I enjoyed watching but I wouldn't add to favorites.

A great concept, perfect season 1, then it got dragged out for too long and was ended horribly. Still a 9 overall for me, but not best of all time by a long way (personal opinion, not saying anyone else is wrong for theirs)

Edit. For someone with the grand total of 48 anime on their list, OP needs to watch more before making such a grand judgement of ALL OTHER ANIME…

AOT is peak fiction. I’m currently doing a full series rewatch, and my love for it has evolved even more and I didn’t think that was even possible. Long Live AOT, the greatest story ever told.

I have never seen an anime with a better story and plot twists than AOT. At first I see Eren as an average shonen MC but that all changed after final season. I think AOT is definitely a show everyone should atleast give a shot weather they like anime or not. It is my second favourite anime for a reason and other than Gabi (I still hate here at the end of 2024 and will always stand by that), everything else is peak fiction

Amazing anime with great writing, one of the best, but I wouldn't say the best oat. People need to stop overglazing their fav anime, it's just making the community look toxic and I say this as a big time aot fan myself.

I will take cringe isekai and romcoms over AOT.

Even the author of AOT himself, Isayama admits he is into dating simulators during his high school days. Is Rumbling Hearts is favourite eroge at that time?
Well, the story of AOT is heavily inspired by an isekai eroge.

AOT is not bad, just outclassed by other dark fantasy titles.

I agree that AOT is peak, one of the greatest but not 'The Greatest'. But if anyone here says it's better than Fullmetal Brotherhood, Code Geases I'm gonna kill them, simply for the fact that despite being fictional story AOT has always focused on nature of mankind, consequences, unavoidable truth of nature and excellent character development. FMAB or Code Geases can't hold in all these aspects. Vinland Saga, Monster, 20 Century Boys, Vagabond can be better comparison.

Well it certainly holds up more than decently well against its peers such as Midland Saga, Mid Piece, Full Metal Mid, Berserk which i think is decent, and Steel Ball Run which is nowhere near as fleshed out as AoT.
