| Watched Aldnoah Zero hours ago, there were like at least 3 cliches that irked me, not the worst but pretty bad when done wrongly. - Crying but don't know why, which she actually knew deep down. -> that Princess' sister in s2 ep 7 - Repeatedly calling someone's name. -> Princess after waking up in the same episode "Slaine, Slaine, Slaine, Slaine, Slaine, Slaine, Slaine.." stfu. - Holding a gun against someone but had no intention of shooting at all, in other word, empty threat -> happened in s9 epi 9, this also happened in FMAB. |

| 10-) Pokemon Arcs. Going to nowhere places->Helping unknow characters->Beating the badguys->Making a party->Going to an other nowhere place->... I would like more "surprises" in the scenarios. Like in many Shounens. 9-) "White Knight" Spirit. A male character doesn't want to hit a female one because she's a female, even she's psychotic or endangered his comrades. Hypocritical and as sexist as being a macho man. Sanji from One Piece, Kenichi from History's Strongest Disciple. 8-) "Snatch" Moment. When the badguys, even the smartest or the skillest one, does nothing when goodguys use last-breath attacks. Come on! How can they make the dumbest think in this moment?! Like Lucci-Eneru from One Piece, Shyn Sheron from Dragon Ball GT. . 7-) Godlike Powers. When powers/skills/magics are become over-powerfull and fights become too "dragon ball"-ish. Like Micheal Bay movies, It's fun 10 minutes but after, It's become unconsistent... Like many shounens again and many Mechas like TTGL. 6-) Military Highschools. The world safety is in the hands of schoolboys/girls who are more usefull than any military forces (usually, they're useless) 5-) Fanservice Erotic, bloody, "what fans want"-y, more It has fanservice, more the anime has nothing more good or interesting to offer. Like To Love Ru, Highschool of Dead, Naruto The Last Movie,... 4-) Big-Head jerk/Psychotic bitch One is an annoying, arrogant and loudly brat who thinks It has the biggest penis in the universe, the other is either a hysterical mad girl who hate everything and love to hurt by the most disgusting way, either she's a merciless "Angel of Death" who have absolute no emotion and brutaly kill her targets. Like Kamina, Zekka, Dark Scheinnder, most of Akama ga kill female characters, Yuno from Mirai Nikki,ect.. 3-) Power of the Heart and Mankind. Lame excuse for melodramatic moments where everyone crying and gives Deus-Ex-Machina power-ups for the heroes. Mankind: "Humans are the best thing of the creation", It's as damn annoying and hypocritical than a bad environmental message, but It "works" because It flatters human ego. Like Fairy Tail, Dragon Quest: Dai Quest,... 2-)T.H.A.C.O.D (Teenage Handsome Action Character Overused Design) When the charac design is always the same "pretty thin teenage emo/loli characters with carnaval clothing and fantasy hair". Cannot stand anyomore the "J-PoP bands" design. Like Sword Art Online, Blazblue, Tales of and Shining franchises, nearly every Nomura Tetsuya works... And the worst cliche in anime is.... 1-) Monster Slaughtering When It has teenage characters raping huge badass monsters by itself like nothing... Because: -I love monsters, beasts and stuffsI and I always upset for those creatures who are just here to be "Goliath" of the "David vs Goliath" plot but where the David cut the Goliath in two with a four-handred blade... -I'm sure I'll find nearly all others quoted cliches above... Like Blood-C, Fairy Tail, Crimsom graves, Sword Art Online etc... |

| The worst cliché in anime is the "power from pain" plot drive. #2nd worst is hateful bitches slapping pathetic weakling boys around. #3: is anthropomorphic girls (I.E. KanColle, Upotte!) #4th worst is gratuitous fanservice in non-R rated shows #5 is "battle prose" aka. dumb shitty hero and idiot shitty villain smack-talking at eachother in combat, posturing like cheesecakes #6: Convenient monologues by characters to remind the audience what's about to happen, or is happening. These are rated by how dumb they are and not necessarily how common they are. |

| I just noticed it today when watching Tokyo Ghoul, the "keep trying to punch the enemy in rage despite being exhausted" cliche is awful. Worst thing about it the enemy usually entertains then and just lets them have their useless struggle instead of just finishing them off. Its so dumb and so irritating. |
