| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So Endless Eight starts ^^ New Op!! xD but i have to say i prefer the ED. anyway planing for the summer, as usual Haurhi as bossy as allways, feel sorry for kyon, as he has to pay. from swimming, to shopping, to carnival (mikuru kawaii in her yukata ^^) (and yuuki holding the gun the wrong way xD) to bug catching <.< mikuru only 1, not suprised... to T___T some frog costume giving ballons??....i simply lol the baseball part, brings back memories of season 1, with mikuru missing each shots.. It was sure an enjoyable episode ^^ i wish i could have fun like them <3 kyons sister |

| I really liked the new OP, the song was nice and it stylish :D A grea slice of life episode and Seeing Haruhi, Yuki and Mikuru in their yukatas was <3. I lol'd hard at Yuki holding the gun the wrong way :D As for the episode order...according to the only broadcasting order which has been correct so far, it's the Sigh next week...but the endless 8 plot hasn't even been completed yet? >_> |

| Finally, it's Endless Eight! Or at least, just a part of it since... Anyway, I do agree that the "Endless" part should have been hinted at in the end. Still, they did get to do a lot of fun stuff and complete Haruhi's list of stuff to do during summer vacation, and lots of good moments here and there, but again, I don't see any of the serious stuff in this episode at all, which is kinda disappointing. Next week should hopefully wrap up the Endless Eight summer story, where... And yes, the SOS 団 girls in swimsuits and yukata are definitely great. As for the new OP, it's decent but I still like the first one better. Maybe this one will grow on me though... So overall, this ep was good, but not great. Nothing much happened at all, and there wasn't even any hint of what was really happening. I expect more from next weeks episode. |

| somehow I was disappointed ... is it my lack of knowing the japanese language or did this episode just miss the part which actually made "endless eight" part of the Haruhi universe if they are extending endless eight for another episode then I wonder why Kyon actually did his homework alone ... well ... who knows? As for the new opening ... it is definitely better than the new Ed ... I still miss a new dance though. But I think it will grow on me and one of my fav anime openings ... I just have to watch it /listen to it a couple of times |

| I loved the opening. <3 The episode was definitely fun. I felt bad for Kyon's Sister though, seemingly left at home. I was glad she was smiling when playing... what, Tetirs?' As for this summer's over-hyped movie... is it Transformers? :P |

| at first, i thought that the way the episode ended was bad. but after reading other people's ideas on it, i think that this approach is good also. the only problem about this approach is the 1 week period between the episode, so it may be awkward. |

Well, besides the fact the KyoAni broadcasts shitty raws, the quality of the raws are shitty in every way, and in a few days "slightly better" raws are released, but still don't look even good. Even if you wait for Yuki, the video quality won't be that much better. I suppose it's all just preference :s |
| Yuki is pretty much the best quality you can find for new Haruhi episodes, even if it is not perfect. But it kind of annoys me how for the new episodes Yuki takes subs from various groups. It causes discrepancies in the episode, like thoughts will go from italics to non-italics, and then things will be called different names at different times...idk |

| I really enjoyed this episode, very entertaining as well as lots of funny moments. Like most people have said; I would have liked it even more if there had a been a little hint towards the actual plot of Endless Eight, but oh well. To be honest, I didn't really like the new OP. I've only watched it once, so hopefully it'll grow on me like the ED did. At least we only have to wait 1 week for a new episode this time! xD |

| I just love impatient people. Clearly this episode is going somewhere; heck I even found very subtle hints in Yuki's screentime. The only people that wouldn't notice such hints would be those that haven't read the novels yet. In all honesty, I'm loving Yuki again. I also really like that Suzu and Kyon are getting along a bit better than their usual peon-leader relationship. It's only going to get better, especially with Snow Mountain Syndrome. |

| I'm not much of a fan of the new Opening theme. For some reason the captioning with the main characters names felt awkward, since I didn't think anyone needed an introduction as to who they were. | It was a pretty OK episode. I don't really like the OP, but the video's good. Hopefully, they'll really show us what Endless Eight is about next episode. I liked this when I read the novel, I remember, but I've always preferred Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody. |
