Even though I haven't seen this episode yet, the thought of another Casshern gives you the idea that maybe he wasn't the one who eliminated Luna.

This is just like Gurren Lagann ep25 (all hail King Kittan!) -- I'm sad I read the spoilers.

I'm also certain I'll not care when I'm watching it.

I have that hunch too xD I think Casshern didn't really kill Luna, though it's true that he was ordered to do so but he didn't do it yet got blamed for the ruin ^^;

Love this show, casshern is a very tragic hero he doesnt want to go over board like he does but cant control himself when he gets that way, ringo is a great character and watching towards the end where the kids were getting destroyed was kind of hard to watch even if they are robots, and the introduction of a new casshern like person is going to really really make this show exciting

After all that talk Stalkergirl didn't have the smallest chance of killing Casshern. And it was all out of personal vendetta.. I thought there will be some higher cause in her case.

Well at least there is this new badass. Finally a real opponent!! Pretty good ep btw

It really was an emotional and tragic moment when Casshern was trying to give his life up. No wonder Lyuze hesitated though. He's talking like a victim (which he is) a tragic figure instead of some dark and evil monster she probably pictured him as. This happens yet again after wanting to surrender his life to Friender. What's sad is that Friender did more impressive damage than Lyuze. Seriously that girl could go at it for 100 years and still not actually finish him off.

Do wonder about the theory of Casshern not doing it. Is possible Luna found a way to stop him from being controlled. But still with Casshern seriously damaging the guards he would still get blamed no matter who actually killed Luna. Anyways we are slowly getting the story about what happened.

Wonder about this new guy who showed up. Certainly gives the feeling of 'villain'. He probably could finish Casshern off, but depending on what he knows Casshern may just want to survive for a bit longer.

Very interesting seeing Casshern having to do deal with a world that he or may not have destroyed.
It was tough watching him trying to give up his life, and watching the kid robots get demolished.
I look forward to finding out more about the Dark Casshern.

I feel sorry for Casshern. He doesn't know who he really is, or what he did in the past...
However, this is one of the shows which, although not showing the reasons why, just feels so good with the story given.
My favorite show of the season. (with tytania :))

Was a bit tough to watch him when he tries to give up his life. The whole situation makes you think how you would deal with it. A good person gets told he's responsible for the destruction of the world. Then at the same time knows that when he is in danger terrible things happen to those around him, so every good intention leads to disaster.

Really looking forward to seeing what this dark guy is about. His story and what he may know about Casshern.

Finally some pick up, Sins has a great mountain to climb in order to earn respect and deem itself worthy of the Casshern names. Perhaps I should skip ahead a few episodes and see if it goes down the "GRIMDARK" route or actually redeems itself.

Seriously, I want the next episode now. I reaaaally wanna know what's up with the other guy who looks like Casshern. I'm really hoping they share some sort of relation past looking similar, oh well. Another great episode from this series, really no surprise. The fight scene with the robots was amazing, albeit not terribly dramatic following his attempt to sacrifice himself to Lyuze.

I really hope they do not introduce an "Anti-Casshern" as the main recurring villian, so many plots resort to this pattern, it would be a shame to see the Casshern franchise do this.

Was a very interesting episode. Cant wait to see how what role this other guy plays in the show.

PS. the little girl looks to human. I bet the old man just told her she was a robot so she wouldn't be destroyed by human hating robots. Same goes for the other girl that wanted to kill Casshern. She's to much of a human.

1. I just don't see HOW human could fight on par or at least fight against Casshern.
2. WE saw Ringo's head "crack a bit" in episode 1.
3. Lyuze is certainly an android. Sophita too.
4.They all look "too human", but, honestly thats the point. THey scream in pain, they fear death, they love, they hate.

Too much talking that didn't make much sense during the first half. And then Casshern tries to get himself killed for the third time in a row (almost).

Not quite as good as episode 4. I wonder who 'dark Casshern' is; there's so little revealed about the plot so far.

And Lyuze is a real dissapointment (even some of the animation made her look like an old dude). Sophita would've made a better sidekick, dammit!

well to me, this new cyborg (i say that because casshern moves like a machine but bleeds like a human) is the one that the sister was saying casshern can't let live. imo she didnt mean that casshern was bad but that this new guy was and he needed to kill him.

Here's a interesting fact, the title for the original 1970s Casshern anime was Neo-Human Casshern, or in other words, Cyborg Casshern

Well good sir most classic "henshin" heroes are cyborgs, even if they are only "henshin" hero in spirit and never henshin in the first place.

This episode did a great job in showing the robot/berserk side and the human/pacifist side of Casshern. And his main antagonist appears too at the end of the episode, which is good since the anime will develop faster now probably. Seems like we reached the second part ;)

If "Evil Casshern" is pulled off as the recurring main villain I would not be surprised if they pull out random characters like that. Although the fusion characters would have to be so grimdark that they'd have to sing Linkin Park songs to counter all of the Nine Inch Nails CD's Sins Casshern drops everywhere. And Ace wondered why I hated this era.

1) Thats the point I was trying to make. She cant fight on par with him so is she a human?
2) Ringo's head didn't crack. The metal crown that she had around her head did.
3) I know Sophita is because of the way she talks and acts. Lyuze on the other hand acts more so like a normal human and doesn't seem to have any problems with her body. I'm not saying for sure that she is human, I'm only saying she seems like one when compared to everyone else in the show.
4) Not in my opinion. The only one's so far to look and act like a human have been Lyuze, the little girl, and Casshern.

very good episosde imo, i thought lyuze could put up a better fight

I love this. I love how every episode seems like it would go by slowly but something about the way they execute the story catches your attention and suddenly, it's the end of the episode. And not that anyone's said this yet but I don't think it's going slow at all. I like how we're finding out about Casshern pretty much at the same rate he's finding out about himself. It's nice to not be able to really predict what's happening or what will happen.

Does anyone else feel like this series should have been a movie? I'm finding it really annoying how every episode so far has barely moved the story along. So far we're still at: Casshern killed Luna, and he doesn't remember anything about it, and everyone wants to kill him for it.

Uh... how many times will they repeat that?

I feel like this series is already going on too long. I want them to get to the point of how Casshern is going to save the world, or something. I don't think much will happen in the next episode either. So there'll be action? But so far all the action has been pretty pointless.

Maybe I should just stop watching this series.

Now now something I noticed, doesn't that terrible "Anti-Casshern" fellow remind you of Hurricane Polymar?

I'm really starting to wonder what will happen next, I'm glad that Ringo and that other girl came back [and of course, Friender <3!] but woah, that guy at the end totally makes me want the next episode now.

Indeed. This was the first episode that really struck me with that attitude. That is the main reason why I found this to be my least favorite episode; I was expecting at least a little plot progression. So I figure, if they have one more episode along these lines, they didn't do as good do of a job as they could have. Still an amazing series none-the-less.
