| Only one episode left, but we were treated to a good amount of everything this time. Sakaki in heaven at the study group with both Mr Tadakichi and Maya...gotta love the textbook moment that she was 'trapped' though the moment Maya feel asleep in her lap :3 Through everything, was praying that everyone was at least able to get into a choice of school - even our trio of knuckleheads. The Osaka good luck check with the chopsticks though took quite the unexpected turn. Even after learning the trick, Tomo failed and even Osaka gave up on her...how many chopsticks was Chiyo going through there?! O_O Poor Yomi though :'( |

| The notion that Osaka and fucking Tomo would succeed at getting into their first choice schools while Yomi fails is remarkably insulting. Probably the most insulting thing that has ever happened in this show, and that's saying something. |

| This is so surreal. I started watching Azumanga Daioh in 2017, which was 5 years ago. Having just gotten to this episode, it really has been years since I first saw all the characters meet each other. Now, they're all applying to colleges and deciding their futures. It's hard to believe that they've really grown up. |

| The "Oh my Goh" scene is finally here and it's hilarious. Everyone except Yomi passed, but I'm sure that she'll pass next episode too. Pretty sad that there's only one more episode left :( |
| Gotta say, the English dub adapted the persimmon and dentist puns pretty neatly. Tho I don't think the other puns were that well-translated. Osaka might be a secret genius cause she was able to answer all those questions right away. Or she might just have a gift for those kinds of vocabulary quizzes and probably nothing else... Chiyosuke told Osaka to be a teacher and she didn't even hesitate once. She's gonna be a teacher! It's funny how Yukari took offense to that lol. The cheapskate gag was funny too. I wonder if Yukari gave them any money tho. Oh man, college entrance exams. That was probably the worst part of my life (so far). But watching these girls struggle and eventually go to the universities they wanted was nothing but heartwarming. They grew up so much. :') Ah, I finally made it to the legendary meme clip. "Hello everynyan." "Oh, my Gah!". Idk how many times I watched it before I even started Azumanga Daioh. I had no idea that it'd be in the second to last episode. I thought it'd be in a way earlier episode. Anyway, even with context it doesn't make much sense but watching the series properly made the scene way funnier. When I saw that clip (and other brainrot Azumanga memes) I thought the whole series would be about these kinds of weird and absurd otherworldly gags. So I was pleasantly surprised to see that this was a SOL with mostly mundane stuff about highschool life. But it's done in such a way that it's amazing to watch. It's both funny and a little sad that Chiyo's Father is often credited as something from Osaka's imagination, when Sakaki was the one who first saw him in her dreams tho. It's strange. Chiyo is such an amazing friend. She believes in her friends so much and also does so much for them. She did not have to go out of her way to support her friends by making charms for them or breaking all those chopsticks. Those idiots caused her so much trouble. But she did it for them anyway. She's a true friend. Chiyo is so pure and wholesome. Don't think I ever saw Osaka be this mad before. Even when she's mad, she's really cute ngl. Kagura, Sakaki, Tomo, and Osaka all somehow got into universities. By some cruel twist of irony, Yomi was the only one who didn't. Didn't see that coming. But all of that blaming and wanting Tomo to fail probably made all her bad luck transfer to her. Poor girl. I said that this episode might not top the last episode but I might've been wrong. This was a very good episode. It makes me really sad that there's only one episode left. T_T I'm surprised that more people didn't bring this up tho... Spoilers from the author's next work Yotsuba&! |

| I want dumb characters to be actually dumb. CHIYO WAS SO CUTE, I loved her this episode!!! I tried so hard studying and failed a few of my subjects, I was born dumb. I got accepted into a good animation Uni because I'm too dumb to learn animation and drawing on my own. My friend never draws ever, but when he does, he is better than me. He can just remember stuff easier and how to draw it. It's not fair, I HATE CHIYO, BORN SMART OH HOW LUCKY. I cant make friends because I cant keep the flow of a conversation, I think of a topic 10 seconds after the conversation is over. I LIKED OSAKA BECAUSE I THOUHT SHE WAS ACTUALLY DUMB BUT NOPE. she has some stuff shes good at smh smh smh smh |
