| No, but they're both aware of the fact that I do listen to Japanese music. My mom once told me that it isn't all that "mainstream", which annoyed me greatly. She hasn't even heard any of the Japanese music I listen to. My dad doesn't care at all. He heard me listening to an acoustic medley of anime and game songs and thought that it was nice. He's one of the musicians of the family, so he has greater respect for what I listen to than my mom. |

| They don't have any problem at all. My dad even enjoys a song or two he's listened to. My mom will ask "what's this song about?" usually. My sister, who watches anime once in a blue moon, doesn't mind at all and will listen to them with me but not solitary. My little brother does enjoy it as much as I do though. |

Now they just think I'm even crazier because my son dances to J-pop and it's the only thing I can put on to calm him down I couldn't help it that it was all I listened to while I was pregnant XD Lol. Specifically "Massara Blue Jeans" by C-ute. It's his favorite. ^_^ |

| No. Both my parents are certain asians that are not completely new to the Japanese language. Therefore, they do not find it "weird". And I live far apart from any of my other family members, and they do not know I listen to Japanese. So in conclusion, none of my family members find it "weird" listening to Japanese Anime Music. |

| In the beginning, yes. Everytime. They're pretty much used to it now. My older brothers, when they visit, still wonder what I'm listening to and they never fail to ask despite having heard me countless times before. My younger brothers have grown to love some of it. Sometimes they'll even show me a song recommended to them from their friends at school. They're the most tolerant. :) |
| I barely listen to anime music anymore, but when I do it's with headphones, as with everything else; and even if I had the volume high enough, my bedroom door would probably be closed. My mother probably wouldn't care, though. She already knows I watch anime. And my brother listens to it more than I do. |

A handful of the last people you would expect to even tolerate it had me give them music by Clazziquai, Capsule, M-flo, and a handful of others because they liked the way it sounded coming from my room. (I brought my very, very large speakers here. It's pretty hard not to hear my music if your on campus at all, actually.) as fir family though, my brother likes most of it, and my mom either doesn't care, or isn't there. |

| i dont care what they think and to be honest some of the starting songs ive seen and heard are really good songs and if they say we cant understand them wat are subs for? :P and to be honest i bet everyone here knows atleast some jap words by heart from just watchin animes so its all good in the end |
