I rewatched Hunter x Hunter 2011 a frightening amount of times. I probably will never watch another series as creative or tragic ever again when it comes to anime. I wish there was more.

Which anime is it in your case?

I revisit those anime I have watched through their original source material to apreciate the story even more how this was planned out from the begining, seeing author visuals and their paneling evolution alongside other things is cool.

It's not because I enjoy them or anything, baka. I do it just to annoy people on MAL who think there's no point in rewatching anything.

Not all the time, but I've probably rewatched Log Horizon more than any other series because I'm not yet satisfied with not having seen more of its worldbuilding and the mystery surrounding the isekai element. Arguably, it's large cast of vibrant characters is also cool.

Overall, it's just so entertaining seeing players live out their vrmmmorpg Isekai lives. Moreover, the entire series has an awesome vibe that reminds me of the 2000s and early 2010s. A time right before the internet and gaming became super mainstream. Ah... lovely nerd culture.

"If it is not broken, do not fix it."
That was the first Japanese series/movie I saw, first time I even ever heard of "Anime."
I had a group of friends on an online call push me to watch it, just a great movie.

Also re watched it quite a bit, and I Want To Eat Your Pancreas, too.

I re watch quite a lot. To be fair, I often see a show alone and force it down someone I know's gullet. The opposite happens sometimes too, I see something with friends, then watch it alone later.

However, a show I re-watch purely because I wish to is Seitokai Yakuindomo. I do not know why.
Even though it is a comedy, and usually the jokes get stale when you re-watch them, I still just love watching it again and again.

Other than that, I have seen Kage No Jitsuryoku, Re:Zero, I Want To Eat Your Pancreas, A Silent Voice, and a plethora of others many times.

Also, I do not know if others have experienced this too, have you ever watched something and completely forgotten you had watched it a couple months before? I had had that occur for about a dozen shows like Ichiban Ushiro no Daimao. So, that falls in too.

The Fruit of Grisaia, and the Rakuen and Eden too.

I don't think this really counts, but as for modern titles go...

I tried rewatching "Steins;Gate", and honestly just kept falling asleep. It’s kind of a boring Anime for me once I already knew how everything would unfold. The only thing that made it interesting the first time, was not knowing what to expect.

First attempt back sometime in the mid 2010s? Fell asleep on my massage chair before episode one even ended. lol
Second attempt sometime in the late 2010s? Restarted from the beginning, fell asleep on the couch by episode two or three. lol
Third time after 2020? thought, fuck it! and skipped ahead to episode four… only to pass out three episodes later. lol

After that, I gave up and sold my Blu-ray copy. Just used the money I made from selling it off to buy something new for my physical collection. lol

That is completely fair.
The reason I loved that show is because my mind wandered a lot during it.
I am an author, so I have half a love and half a hate relationships with plots like Steins:Gate.

I love how great of a tale they tell and how they present it uniquely, but I loathe the fact that I did not think of it first, or that it was not explored enough.

At the end of the day, complex lore stories, no matter how slow they are/boring, are great tales if they can set up the world in them in great detail.

That is when they are in the peak stories for me.
