| probably won't emulate the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle box-office extravaganza but, DEFINITELY ANIME MOVIE OF THE YEAR great structure, action sequences and beautifully executed finale. MAPPA have once again, outdone themselves 10/10 |

| HOLY SHIT THIS IS PEAK 🔥🔥, At first, I was a bit skeptical about this adaptation, since I know exactly how this arc plays out. But MAPPA really nailed the pacing of the story. As for the animation, they did a great job, they toned down the 3D CG for Denji in his Chainsaw form, and honestly, the way they executed the battle scenes was just insane!!! And finally! I got to hear more of ED 3, Hawatari Nioku Centi, can’t wait for MAXIMUM THE HORMONE to officially release the full song!!!! fuck i need to rewatch this !!!!!!!!!!! |

| Great Movie, I had a lot of fun watching the movie, and to my own surprise, I was expecting the battle against Bomb devil to be the one to look out for but rather than the battle against Bomb Devil, I found myself mesmerized by the battle against the Typhoon. I will not forget it in along time. |

| Yeah, that was a fabulous audiovisual experience! I watched it in IMAX and enjoyed the heck out of it. Right after I left the theatre, I kept thinking back to my experience with the first of the final KnY trilogy films and I must say, this had more over-the-board experience with Fujimoto-sensei's style and MAPPA going absolutely bonkers. Reze pool scene for it to be fully nude was unexpected but hey, I can't complain. I knew I'd love Reze just from the moment Ueda Reina-san was selected as the seiyuu and she obviously didn't disappoint. Even that devil outfit was perfect xD. Also, did anyone notice the first scene of the devil transformation, she didn't have any underpants on so it does make me wonder when she decided to put one on. I think I'll go watch it one more time (not IMAX this time and I can't do 4DX so it'll have to be the normal one), it's that good in the best screen honestly. Kobeni-chan hardly got a scene and even that didn't give away anything besides her usual meek self. I do wonder how she got away, lol. I feel like Reze was so stumped, she just let her be. Natsuki Hanae-san sure must've loved Beam's role from the movie. Definitely put himself on the big stage with this one. I just knew Makima would interrupt the happy reunion between Reze and Denji, but I didn't expect that many mouses. I wonder what her power is, and I'm liking the mystery aura of hers. They've been at it since early S1 and carried through with it. Uncanny vibes, as usual. Angel saying he got caught and is being used by her does pique my interest. Here's to hoping we get the S2 adaption (and another movie or something) to at least get us up to the end of Part 1. 9/10 from here. |

If you skim through the recent all member ratings you can see clusters of 1s from new accounts who just gave the TV Anime and this Movie a 1 within minutes of eachother.
Since not many people have reviewed it yet it's having a big effect even though it's smallscale as far as review bombing goes.

| @TopgunUK Just to update on this, there are now almost as many 1/10 ratings for this movie as there are for the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie (116 vs 168) despite there being 20 times as many ratings in total for Infinity Castle (4k vs 80k). I hope MAL actually does something to not count or prune all these accounts created just to drop a 1 on a particular entry/franchise. |

@_MushiRock11_ They could easily finish Part 1 with the equivalent of 13 or 14 episodes, so it'll probably either be all movies or one full cour.
| @littlewillie610 Ah okay, there should be about 45 chapters left to adapt so I was thinking a cour might not be enough. Wouldn’t mind a short 1-hour film or ova though if it means they don’t have to cram up some things. |

Season 1 technically adapted close to the equivalent of 40 chapters in 12 episodes, since the first chapter was almost triple-length.
| @littlewillie610 And that's with some filler inserted and adapting a couple of scenes multiple times across different episodes. I would hope they would just adapt the rest of Part 1 in a single cour, maybe with a few extended length episodes if needed like a lot of shows do nowadays. |

@Confused_100 It already got greenlight for season 2 though based on leak. Announce probably around the corner or this December jump festa. Yeah csm movie quite good so many japans fans praising at Twitter and got high rating on filmarks too.

| Finally, watched it on the big screen. The 4dx experience was out of this world. The story felt flat in the first half but picked up the pace in the second half and the animation was so fine. Kensuke Ushio elevated the movie through this music. I felt that it would have been good if the duration of the movie was over 120 minutes. I was really hoping for some something on Gun Devil in the post credits scene but that didn't happen. |
| Was in full gear for the movie. They served too hard & good w/ this movie adapting the Bomb Girl arc, which is my favorite arc of the manga. The music & animation were S-tier. I love how during the imagine spot, they had a close-up ass shot of Power in those white panties. They made the scene where Aki wrapped his arms around Angel after sacrificing 2 months of his life to save him gayer than the manga. The way Denji & Power exchanged eye contact in the post credits a bit longer than in the manga made the scene a little more romantic, especially since Denji actually considered giving Power the bouquet meant for Reze. I love how Reze's dropped the dynamite from her apron in the river of Typhoon Devil's blood. I love the quickdraw duel w/ Denji & Reze in the finale of the battle. The cartoonish sound effects given to Denji & Beam as they flopped around inside the building they were thrown in & the horse noises from Beam when he acted as Denji's trusty steed. I love the manga styled dream of Denji during the intro. I'm happy they made Reze's fight w/ Aki a bit longer than the one in the manga. I love how he used the katana's reflection to signal his attack on Reze. The foreshadowing of Kobeni working at Family Burger when she dropped a burger during the OP. Violence totally bought her another one because he cares about her. I was offended when Angel threw away the cone after a few bites instead of finishing it like in the manga version. So that scene in the movie was in the park instead of the city sidewalk in the manga. The scene where the Mysterious Man killed a woman offscreen was definitely an anime only scene. I love the additional animation of the cigarettes spilling out of the cigarette pack to show that Aki quit smoking & didn't throw the pack away because he's out of cigarettes. I also love the detail of Kishibe offering Aki a cigarette & him not even moving to show he's done w/ smoking. Power not wanting to work & having to be dragged by Denji & Aki to work during the OP was funny & cute. They actually kept Reze being initially bottomless during the 2nd Division attack before wearing panties as she presented the vice captain & Nomo's heads to the occupants of Aki's car. I love how they played ED 3 during the start of Reze & Denji's fight & even extended it. I want a full version of that song. Nomo's strong enough to tank a headless Reze body bomb wrapped around his body & only lose his right arm in the process. Vice Captain & Nomo's reaction to the Fox Devil bailing on them after hating Reze's taste was hilarious. The reaction to Denji eating the flower & the montage of Denji & Makima's theater hopping & Makima's movie critiques were hilarious. I'm surprised they didn't show the dying Devil Hunter's head being impaled by Aki as he was being mercy killed by him. So the Futamichi cafe is called Crossroads in the film. Is that what it means in English? I wasn't surprised they took out Reze's nipples since MAPPA removed any nipples from Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku. The OP is longer than usual anime movie OPs   |

| This movie is unironically gonna save the franchise from downward spiral of irrelevance from whatever is going on with the TV series. I would not comment about animation nor about production quality because both have vastly different resource, budget, and overall the medium in general ( 12 Ep. vs 1.4 Hr ), but you can clearly see that the production committee really do their homework to fix a lot of things going wrong with the TV series. The clearest visible changes would be the color composition and character design, toning it down and remove that weird aesthetic instagram filter thingy. Another obvious changes is that they clearly put a rule to put a hard NO on 3DCG characters. Say what you want, but both domestic and international viewers already loud enough to sound their huge disapproval about it. Overall, This movie is the kind of direction that I wish I can get it when I watch the first episode 3 years ago. |

| Now THIS, felt like a proper movie. Definitely think they improved the Chainsaw Man. I think it was 3D in the TV series so that's good. Just hope it stays in the future. That date with Makima had me feeling things though, despite me knowing who she is. |

| For some reason it wasn't letting me write one of these when I put completed, but anyways loved this new movie, really like the cinematography what I did not like though was probably the part where she bit off his tongue cuz eww that's just gross, and I already still have Trauma from the whole barfing into the mouth thing |
