It looks like the characters are computer drawn on a low-resolution canvas and dropped slightly blurred on the background.

I don't even know if the story is worth anything yet. I came here to see if anybody else was commenting on this.

Look what happened at Dandadan - people nowadays can't even handle villains doing villain things. Momo barely got fondled a bit and social media freaked about it and it's annoying every time it happens because algorithm shoves those rage threads into our feeds, even if we don't like it.
What would happen to Clevatess if tourists would find it? Genocide and gore in the first episode, slavery and sexual exploitation in second... People clearly can't differentiate between fiction and reality, and can't understand abstract themes. I don't want some activist flooding my feeds with posts explaining how Clevatess is bad because there are slaves in it. It also creates needless pressure on the studio and publishers. Some will ignore it or stand against it but some will unfortunately bend the knee and increase censorship to sell their stuff in the west without creating a shitstorm. We get barely any edgy series with more adult themes as it is.

No, it doesn't, unless you mean that one scene when Clevatess (beast who doesn't understand humanity or social norms) asked MC to strip so she can feed the baby. I really hope you don't means sexual themes in the 2nd episode because that was the opposite of fanservice, unless you are a freak. I don't judge fetishes but let's acknowledge what's normal and what's messed up.

It was edgy but it was very black and white so even tourist could understand it. MC was morally gray and did some messed up things but people ignored it and looked past it (which is a shame since it was a big part of his character development) because of how cool he was and all action. Also, didn't people freak out at that one slice and life episode, even though it was extremely important and basically a culmination of the entire plot until that point? I think most Solo Levelling watchers were there only for action and barely understood anything else...
