| Great episode. Really tired of the Britannians... hell I was getting weird Gundam vibes with the Knights. Stop and think.. BK has TWO unique mechs (not counting Rollo because he only appears at random), Todo's is barely even seen in most battles. Britannia gets like 4 knights or something? Each with a super power. Then they mass produce that lancelot rip off, etc. Then Lancelot gets upgrades and is impervious to death. The Gurren is the coolest mech by far and gets trashed a bunch of times but gets repaired. Britannians get repairs, new weapons, new parts, new mechs. Wow. Reminds me of Gundam, how Gundams were mostly inexperienced pilots using the most powerful tech, then they demolish the Zeon who are experienced fighters using as much skill as they have with modified mechs. I was just annoyed that they lost an important soldier for the BK yet NONE of the important Britannians or pilots died in this attack. Unfair much? The new Gurren just barely made up for it. However it's still pathetic it gets a huge upgrade and can't kill the leader mech nor destroy 2 knights with the wide area attack at point blank?? Britannia is just completely OP. I hope Kallen kills them all later. And I also am getting annoyed with the Light comparisons. You'd only see Light similiarities for the first few eps but they aren't remotely similar. I've finished the anime, read the mangas, side stories, movies, everything, and Light is NOT a good guy in any way. You root for him if you love evil geniuses. Lulu is a good guy making tough choices that are sometimes brutal. Light pretty much won't hesitate to kill anyone, no matter how close they are - as long he wins. Lulu wouldn't kill Nunnally or Euphemia (before crazy), hell he couldn't kill his friend Suzaku who is ruining S1 and S2. Someone earlier mentioned Light is more justice and better at it because he doesn't hesitate. Well actually, stone cold killers don't hesitate. Lulu hesitates because he cares about people. He won't let anyone die IF HE CAN AVOID IT. Light could easily NOT kill about 90% of the people in DN and still have power but he wants to be God. If you truly finished Death Note, you should know Light said justice but he didn't care about it, he wanted to be God and define his will as justice. Lulu is just overthrowing some corrupt governments and evil family members. Jeez. And the other differentiation is that Lulu has friends. Guess who doesn't have friends? |

| I'm sure they're doing this intentionally, but other than Kallen, the Black Knights seem so outnumbered and disadvantaged. Obviously, they have the power of the mastermind, Zero, but that doesn't change the fact that they have so much manpower. This upgrade to the Guren was much needed as it gave us some hope. Really sad to see Nunnally and Lelouche's reunion broken apart. Pretty cool to see the Knightmares of the Knights again as well. Overall, pretty action-packed episode and I can't wait to see what Lelouch does next. |

| It was an intense episode but it was still good! Kallen did awesomely well in this episode but she usually does :) It was touching when Lelouch and Nunnally were talking, but seriously Nunnally should have recognized Lelouch's voice or Lelouch could have told Nunnally that he's Zero... Suzaku and Anya are both really annoying.. they just ruin the show |

| Awesome air battles!!!! This episode was pure mechagasm XD New Gurenn MK-II was really bad-ass with lot of new abilities. One of the best battles in this series ever. Lelouch will go insane because of the lost of Nunnally? |

| It's clear now that Lelouch isn't doing this for nunally or if he ever was doing it for japan he ain't doing it now. It's only Lelouch that doesn't see that he's beat. It's not that his ideology is inferior to that dog suzuku but he just got beaten thoroughly. At this point, you would have to be doing mental gymnastics to justify the 'justice' in the black knights. I could support lelouch if from day one he was trying to stop britannia from world domination which is thrashing the european union and when it's finished will take out the weaker chinese federation. But not once has he broadcasted this reason. |

| GAH what a frustrating episode. Like in the good way. Where they're trying to build tension and frustration. But I wanted to tear my hair out by the end. It was inevitable I think given how they dabbled in this with the Euphy arc at the end of R1. Nunally doesn't necessarily like or agree with what Zero is doing. But sadly Lelouch might be too far gone now down the rabbit hole of rebellion to cooperate with her. Plus I read in these very forums an interesting theory, that his powers didn't just arbitrarily fuck up with Euphy it was because compromising with her failed to fulfill his contract. If that is the case I have a bad feeling about where R2 is headed. I just want Lelouch and Nunally to be reunited and happy. The show anticipates this (the new OP speaks to it pretty strongly) as seen by his scream there at the end. But it's starting to seem like it can't happen and that's pretty cruel. At least Rolo let him have a moment alone with her on the phone, that was really powerful. At first I was all on team suck Rolo dry and toss him aside. But he's a good boy I hope Lelouch warms up to him. More importantly though will Lelouch continue to fight proving this was about his ego all along. Or was it really all for Nunally and now he'll give it up. Or his genius chessboard mind will come up with a third option I can't conceive right now. This feels like Breaking Bad all over again. A lot of other things happened in this episode too, I'm just so torn up about this Nunally thing. Kallen got an upgrade when Raksha makes her triumphant return. And She literally beats out Guilford, his remaining troops, Suzaku (kinda) and the other two knights he brought single handed. Kallen's a real bad ass now, and that was one of the coolest mech fights of the season so far. And lastly even though the Britannians bureaucratic ineptness is a lot of times too broad for my liking. I got a big kick out of Todoh being astounded when the dumb ass commanding Nunally's transport shoots out his own engines. |

| Rolo coming in with the mad clutch to bail Lelouch. Pretty sure it would have been impossible for Lelouch to get out of that one without the help of Rolo. We also learned two things about Rolo's Geass: It can be fine-tuned to only affect certain targets and it has a time limit of approximately five to six seconds. Earl Lloyd is finally back, which makes the show about 45% better. That new Vice-Governer died really fast. Rest in peace. Bummer that Nunnally has been taught to reject Zero's ideals as well, especially considering he is doing all of this for her. Not sure where Lelouch will go from here. He is doing all of this for Nunnally, and if Nunnally doesn't want any of this, it would be practically pointless to continue. Kallen can fly now! She even wrecked three Knights of Round at once! That was pretty badass. Must have sucked for Lelouch seeing Nunnally choose Suzaku over him. Preview makes the next episode look interesting. |
| ROLO COME THROUGH nice one where is cornelia now? i quite liked her cool fight scenes! lots of tech talk and upgrades, kallen kicked butt and i am sorry but how the FUCK does nunnally not realise zero is lelouch. i'm hoping that moment at the end means she has finally figured it out but the fact that she didn't realise before now is absolutely insane |

| Rolo saves the day, should garner more respect from Lelouch. Saved him from another loss. PTSD over what he did to Euphy when Nunally speaks those same words. Youch. Lelouch loses Nunally again, but hearing his voice might have clued her into figuring out his true identity. |
