I looked it up. Super Saiyans in Dragon Ball predate Sonic the Hedgehog.
Creamy Mami episode 45, "The Psychic Boy of Sorrow" also has something resembling a Super Saiyan.

| I never understand people who like Dragon Ball For me, it doesn't have any artistic values, both the characters and the fights. Just fast punchings and kickings, and finished with kamehameha, and the like The only Shonen anime who shows great artistry in both character designs, and fighting methods is Naruto & Naruto Shippuden If any, Naruto anime was inspired probably by Yuyu Hakusho, not like what Kishimito said: "inspired by Dragon Ball", I think he just wanted to let people think that way while actually it isn't |
