| Every Season of mob takes some episodes to actually start for real. This episode definitely was the real start. I missed being into a story like that, actually being tense in some moments, so I'm hyped for what's to come |

| No surprise that Dimple is the one pulling the strings behind the Psycho Helmet religion and now he's completely taken over the city by brainwashing them. They even got to Reigen, so now Mob is the only person left. This might be Dimple's way of convincing Mob to become the founder and both of them can rule Seasoned City together. The fight between the founder and Hanazawa was good, but the founder was too much for Hanazawa. |

| This whole episode was so trippy in a weird way. I really enjoyed the subtle psychological horror elements delivered in small bursts, I hope they continue exploring the same theme. |
| The atmosphere gets a bit scary when everyone is brainwashed. Will the MC's emotions explode when someone important to him is brainwashed? can't wait for the next episode. Good episode 4/5 |

The way Reigen suddenly started saying that everyone needs a leader and that we should respect that religion or whatever was... weird... I hope he's really brainwashed because if he's not then what he said really came out of nowhere, it made me cringe quite a bit, the script there was just kinda lazy and cheesy, it's like the only purpose for him saying that is to make Dimple look like a "good guy, to have him as a leader because everyone needs a leader, yada yada..." and that was just too cheesy. But whatever, let's see how the next episode goes, I'm not a fan of Mob Psycho, I didn't like the previous seasons that much either and this season is no exception, just a 6/10 or maybe 7/10 anime at best for me. Tfw you can't put two pieces together and guess what is happening during the episode and so you immediately paint it as average. |

Etherius_ZS said: After the 3 average episodes this season (which might just be the 3 worst looking episodes in the history of Mob Psycho), the production quality has drastically improved. Every single shot involving characters from the very first second is moving atleast in some way, stark lighting in majority of the 2nd half (describing the sunset, not as good as S2 ep7), but still an excellent showcase and the imaginary camera being used again obviously, using 2d backgrounds. Mob Psycho is finally showing it's true colors. Not surprising Dimple was behind it because of the voice. @SFirebolt @DiabulusPyrus S2 Ep5 team is working on ep 8 this season and the character designer was hyping up ep 6 on twitter, I assume the big fight climax takes place the episode after the next one? Think you're very much exaggerating here lmao. Episode 2 and 3 had some fucking great animation. Mob Psycho 100 is literally one of the best looking of the decade, it should be way more than just having some great animation. Both episode 2 and 3 only features some animation during the climax of their episodes with few character acting here and there. Moroever, shots like Serizawa running in ep 2 or plant roots coming out of the ground during the meet-up in ep3 have this annoying camera shaking which I guess is more of a storyboarding problem than an animation problem both of them are related, once again significantly worse than how someone like Itsuki Tsuchigami boarded and animated it previous season. | Holy fuck, the atmosphere in this episode was insane with the slow realization(or maybe supposition) that the city might have been "taken over" and Reigen too might have been brainwashed. Hard to believe Dimple-sama is the one doing this though he might not necessarily be the final boss. Somewhat similar to STR though I was more creeped out by this. |

| So basically Dimple is harnessing the power of The Tree of Might, gotcha. Ah that ending along with the insert song just hit all the right notes! So hyped! Awesome episode, definitely the best of this season so far, can't wait for their epic clash! |
