| I'm starting to get convinced that there is some secret propaganda against Korean materials. Last year we got the absurd trash animation in Tower of God and now we are getting this. What is coming next? unOrdinary? that would fit great with their "perfect aura effects". |
| Even though the battle scenes were power point presentations, the story's captivating tf out of me. One of the perks of never reading the source. Its basically the opposite of solo leveling where the story is doing the heavy lifting in this one, maybe we can hope season 2 will be picked up by another studio if it ever gets one. |
| The old King Grey has his judgment of leniency towards his subjects, but the new life of Arthur Leywin is just beginning. Arthur's parents being against each other when it comes to their own child, and to see him being the more mature one feels like a joke. The Twinhorns party, which Arthur clearly still remembers the party of 5 heading together to Xyrus, the sighting of monsters doesn't make their predicament any easier, much less teaching the 4-year-old swordsmanship, only to be amazed at his development for a young child. Nevertheless, the journey to Xyrus, where Jasmine takes a liking to Arthur to be close to him, he's at least getting along. And if monsters aren't enough, a group of bandits coming along to thwart against them, with the thought of Arthur earning another baby while his father fights off the head of the bandits, only to sacrifice himself in the line of fire, to the cries of his parents. Arthur coming face to face with a behemoth who knows him, what's its relationship with him? Limited Budget Works of an anime, this is definitely one. |

| Stilted animation and not so good art, but this episode was surprisingly grounded and had depth. Not much , but it was there. Caught me by surprise. |
| Welp this anime is doomed if this is the animation quality they are producing in the second episode. I picked up the webcomic out of curiosity and the scenes were way better there... anime stripped all the character out and tension. I think this deserved a better adaptation, real shame. |

Really excellent episode. It's sad that there is so much childish hate going on for almost irrelevant issues.
| @elkensteyin I'm so confused what exactly everyone has against this show lmao like did I miss something? Like sure the animation isn't anything groundbreaking, but I think I've seen worse. Maybe that's why it doesn't seem so bad? Maybe it was just overhyped and people are disappointed with this? I'm not sure I really get it. This seems like yet another king reincarnation anime, but this one at least looks nicer than some other ones that come to mind. That being said though, I'm not too sure if I'll stick around after the third episode. It depends but as it's going idk. I really don't mind the animation or art style that everyone here seems to be crying about. It's okay. Nothing groundbreaking or mindblowing, just okay so far. |

| this show is what people last season were saying sakamoto days was. on some blue lock s2 level shit but at least the last episode of that was crazy. it doesn't help that this show just seems like a much worse mushoku tensei so far. |
