| Let's gooo Skarmory was featured in this episode and quite a lot too. Always love seeing the best Pokemon given the spotlight like that, even if they are in the hands of the villains. The episode itself was amazing once again. I probably even preferred this to part one. Turns out Liko's pendant houses some new unknown Pokemon which is a really cool concept and makes sense why everyone is after it. The airship design was awesome and the whole cast of the Rising Volt Tacklers seem interesting, though we don't know much about most of them yet. Captain Pikachu seems like a dependable leader alongside Friede. I guess despite all the other changes they couldn't have Pokemon without a Pikachu. Liko taking a stand against her attackers at the end of the episode was impressive and already the synergy between her and Sprigatito is starting to show. Too bad Sprigatito has been captured, though hopefully not for long. The OST has been great for both episodes so far. I like how they have gone with quite a different sound, making a captivating orchestral score that has really elevated every scene. The little hint of the main theme in the battle at the end was a nice musical reference too. The OP is super catchy already which is a good sign as the first watch of openings can often be a little worse in my opinion but here it was great. Overall, this double episode start looks really promising. The new cast and very different plot seems like a lot of fun, now I just hope they can deliver for the remainder of the series. | Of course they don't rid of the Pikachu presence lol, cool that it was using moves like double team and thunder punch though, moves that Ash's Pikachu never learnt IIRC |
| I love everything about how different this feels from Ash's series. I'll miss Ash's adventures, but it's great to see the Pokemon Company branching out. The world of this IP is so big and there's so many potential stories to tell. |

But I do hope they still keep around gyms and leagues. -- Here's my review of the episode: the way Ghibli is referenced to in the plot is absolutely incredible! I wonder if the screenplay will include references to other mammoths of anime's history. |

| The good old anime theme music kicking in when Liko decided to fight ahhh I wasn't expecting the feelings it gave me! I adore Liko, she is a very relatable but also hard working and good hearted protagonist, and her an Nyaoha/Sprigatito make a great duo. The Rising Voltteccers are such a colourful crew and I love how the Pokemon on board are also just as much part of the crew. Team Explorer are also very interesting, and the music was amazing! I haven't watched the Pokemon series consistently in a very long time, but I am definitely already invested in this new series. Can't wait to se where it goes from here! |

| I wanna learn more about these new characters, but it's nice that action is already here with Liko's pokemon leaving with the villains just like Pikachu previously... and of course they had to put a OP Pikachu in the main cast, but now with an hat xD |

The airship feels really fantasy. Feels a little like old Pokemon again. Oh wow, it has shields or a force field? Maybe it's not a shield, but like the orbal fields from Trails which prevents people from getting blown off the deck of airships by the wind. The airship seems to have automatic sensors that can detect people approaching from quite a distance away. Massive tornado from Castle in the Sky.  Cool engine room.  Seems they can set whether or not the shield/force field allows people to pass through? Cool idea using the shield to prevent the enemy from escaping. Well, I will continue watching for now. We are two episodes - 40 minutes - into this but the show hasn't really endeared me to any of the characters yet, but I suppose I like the airship and I'll see where the adventure story goes. |
| I enjoyed the episode. Liko's got some issues to work through, but I don't dislike her. Her commenting on being like a heroine was funny. And the villain group got pretty cool designs and they saved Nyahoja so that's nice. Also I see Pikachu I approve. Though I gotta admit, the Granblue Fantasy vibe is too strong when I saw the airship lol. |

| After the first couple epsiodes I can say I like the protagonist and the way the story is narrated; tho, the pokemon world doesn't make any sense to me ahah but it's fun to see pokemons just hanging around (Slugma in the furnace? lmao) and after all what was I expecting? ...for instance a more episodic structure, but I'm ok with this anyway. Also cool that they did not stay in school, but I hope we'll see more of roomie from the 1st episode (I bet we will). Overall let's say the plot and the worldbuilding aren't ideal but I like the characters and the delivery, so I'll watch the third soon |

Travelling the world has potential to flesh out the Pokemon setting, but sadly the anime doesn't do anything with it. Every place they visit has the same boxy concrete buildings and people speaking the same language and have the same culture. It's a boring, homogenous, globalized world. |

| The fight scenes are cool. Too bad they ended so quickly if it wasn't for the female mc. Cap Pikachu was cool. He's confident he could take them all on. It was cool to see a Lightning rod ability on pika. Leafage attack was insane. It got a power up (? Using the pendant I'm guessing) . |
| Okay, and we're 0 for 2 in regards to having even the slightest idea what the fuck's going on. This episode did absolutely nothing to meaningfully answer the questions introduced in ep 1. What the hell's the deal with Liko's pendant? "Not a fucking clue!" Who the hell are the people who want Liko's pendant? "The Explorers!" Okay, who are the Explorers? "Not a fucking clue!" Why do they want Liko's pendant? "Not a fucking clue!" Who's the guy who saved Liko's ass last episode? "Friede!" Okay, what's his deal? "He's a Rising Volt Tackler!" Okay, who are the Rising Volt Tacklers? "Not a fucking clue! Also he has a Pikachu and a Charizard." Okay, so is he a grown-up Ash who got a tan? "Not a fucking clue!" Tell me something concrete, or I am leaving. Shit, or get off the pot. |
