| Seeing these guys eating their fellow me..snail people was messed up, though I understand that they were at the point of starving themselves. Poor Chie got caught by plot and the ending of Kirie & Shuuichi was sad but at least they had each other at the end. The first episode was the best judging purely by the animation.. maybe one day Ito will get a fair anime adaptation of his works because so far all of them haven't done his manga justice. |
| Eh? All of sudden they gave up and that is it? Everyone dies or whatever that is and restart all over again? This ending was underwhelming but the epilogue + gender swap was interesting. As anime watch only, I will end up rating this either 5 or 6/10. Probably 5 cause I didn't really enjoy the ending - I mean, Kirie and Shuichi deserved better - (although the epilogue was interesting). | I'm speechless, nothing to say. this was okay not so good. They are human snails that's too weird. Shuichi our boy finally gave up & became a part of the spiral. & the new generation & era has finally arrives & I hope this time reincarnated couples get out the problem even before the incidents unfolds. Score 6/10 at MAL. Finished it on 10th May 2025 at 23:16 Hrs IST. |
| Laughably average. I appreciate the theme of obsession and fixating so much on a specific something that it can impact your life but ... The story moves insanely fast after the first episode which just makes it weird to see every character just accept and move on from these crazy events. I can see the potential though, especially the first episode and the story beats throughout the other episodes, which is probably why the manga is so popular and well liked. A very interesting attempt at something different but ultimately fails to deliver, maybe I'll read the manga some day. |
