It ranks in my top 40-something animanga, I guess it will be at least 10 spots lower if we consider all media. I don't know for sure, as I never did such an extensive ranking of my top media list.

Favorite media is such a big thing holy shit. In anime/manga/manhua/manhwa/LN/WN/VN as a combo, it might make it to top 30.

The highest I've ever given is 9.66 for The Lotr movies
For anime it's AOT - 9.50
For manga novels webtoons it's LOTM - 9.63

Re:Zero soundtrack on the other hand is another type of beast, when it comes to soundtracks then yeah, I would place it in my top 3.

It's #1, and i don't see it being surpassed anytime soon, if ever, since it seems to just keep getting better. Made in Abyss (#2) doesn't have enough scope or sheer cast complexity to beat it, Hunter x Hunter (#3) manga is going insane right now but it doesn't have the same level of emotional weight, and probably won't ever, and nothing outside those 3 is on quite the same level. Lotm and fata morgana are hyped enough to surpass it, but i strongly doubt it, I'm just way too invested in re:zero.

As a LN/WN/Manga, easily top 5. As a pure story, its one of the best pieces of fiction I've ever read. I don't have the anime nearly as high, but season 3 could claw it back with how good its been so far.

Oof that’s tough. As someone who has seen almost 900 anime, every film that has ever won best picture (and most that have been nominated), countless other non-oscar contending movies of all genres, a ridiculous amount of American cartoons, tv series, and “all media” would also certainly encompass all the albums/operas/oratorios/symphonies I’ve listened to and/or performed as someone with a degree in music and a constant seeker of new discoveries. All the art I’ve seen in museums and even on the internet. Idk kinda hard to place Re:Zero. It’s certainly not top 100 material but I like it a lot and I think it’s good enough to just say there are things I love, things I like, and just a few things I don’t care for.
