why is this anime so highly rated?

When you have an anime where 90% of the threads and people within them question its high rating...only to mention that it's overrated because they think it's an 8/10 at most, as if somehow a score that high wasn't great already...you know, maybe that anime deserves a 9+ overall score. Just saying.

e.　MAL community data
e.g.　Questioning the score/ranking/character favorite counts
e.g.　Saying that series X should have a higher/lower score/count
e.g.　Specific reviews, moderation of data/community content/reviews, etc.
