| It really wasn't a case of "it's not up to our standards" but more so that the original TV release was so insanely rushed that several scenes had to be completely removed from it. The BD release just added some of those scenes back and included brand new cuts. |

I have no idea what sort of expectations you had, but usually when an anime gets a blu ray they just remove the ghosting and dimming and polish some of the broken drawings. No Blu Ray release has to my knowledge ever done a complete transformation of the episode or added over a minute of extra animation before. All this and you still expected more somehow.
| @Artemis_Furrson Nah the point of the additional scene was that they had ample amount of time to animate it unlike the original episode where they couldn't change much. Despite that, it looked the same. I never expect much from a blu ray apart from it looking cleaner and colors looking brighter. Now they mentioned that additional scenes will be animated so I had high hopes for those scenes to be consistent. That's where my expectations weren't met. Besides, thats my problem and I admit it. If you liked it, good for you. |

| The blue ray version is very good. There is only 1 part when Makora and Sukuna are fighting hand to hand, and it was very messy. Other parts, the details and the direction are improved so much. The original tv version wasn't finished thats why everything seemed confusing, however the blue ray was able to solve that problem and Im super thankful they did it. |
