well well well best girl of the season is here.
i didn't have any expectations for this. thought it would be another cliche highschool setting romcom but this is something unique. reading the title i just thought alya must be sometimes talking in russian but boy i didn't expect the dude to understand her lol. very nice and fun twist. the entire episode was highly entertaining.
fmc is adorable, mc isn't a loser, the premise is interesting and fun, both the mc's (i think) like each other. what else could one expect from a romcom? no wonder this is so high rated for a romcom.
9/10. looking forward to next episode.

| I didn't know much coming into this and i wasn't planning on watching it anytime soon, but from all the edits ive seen about this show already i decided to give it a chance. And im glad i did, this was an amazing first episode. All the characters we saw and had introduced were enjoyable and the two main leads work so well together and are so cute when interacting with one another. The animation is also very good. Every scene with Alya speaking russian is so cute and the way she sounds is adorable. Milashka is such a nice word to here her say. The best scene this episode was with Kuze putting on Alya's new sock. The way she was embarrassed/nervous was so cute adn cutting to the next scene with Kuze texting his friend and saying he might have a foot fetish is hilarious. (her feet were cute). The next part with them running around was amazing aswell. Overall im excited to see where this show goes. |

| I'm going to be honest, not the best look for the first episode so far. The most jarring issue for me is probably But beside that, I, as a native Russian, DID NOT understand half the things they said in Russian, supposedly? Sounds just like a sheet of katakana thrown around. :D Also imagine calling someone a cutie the first time, then being called stupid or something like that, not very kind or nice. |

| It's an okay start. Not sure it's a big deal the leg exposure of Alya that made X nuts days ago. But he touched her down under! A variation of accidental touching of the boob. Anyway, I predict that Alya is actually his special childhood friend that allowed him to acquire spoken Russian. But she now puts on a different hair colour. The dynamic we are supposed to laugh at is that she doesn't know he can understand Russian. But what if the actual joke is that she knows he can understand Russian, that supposing she is his special friend, she knows he is the childhood friend but he doesn't know and she also knows he can understand Russian. Then, she is all over him right from the beginning. |

| They ruined the PANTSU SCENE!!! I could have forgiving the poor introduction for most of the characters and the skipped, altered scenes and cut out dialogues but just WHYYY?! They changed the scene, pantsu should be PINK and not freaking white. Added an unnecessary chase scene when ALya was more serious and embarrassed in the LN. On another serious note, The characters were less engaging. Also pacing was too fast. |

MC would've looked less bad that way. They also skipped the scene where she gave a perfect wink to Kuze. Nevertheless, I'm still very content with the adaptation. Not immaculate, but it's still resplendent. |

๏ปฟThis episode is an 8/10 just for the cute Russian. It's too cute when ever she speaks in russian. Anyways this looks fantastic. The Mc isn't annoying at least compared to most romcom mc's he's got some personality. The girls are unbelievably cute. He'll probably join the Student council too and then there's going to be even more cute girls. So this well probably be my Romcom of the season besides Oshi no ko which is by the same studio. Again though I really have to compliment the VA for Alya. She's probably the best choice for Alya. I love it when characters that speak two different languages are by the same VA and is fluent.
Also, another plus Alya technically is a childhood friend as well so no matter which girl THE CHILDHOOD FRIEND WINS! Though obviously it's going to be Alya. The series would burn if the author decided for him to choose the other girl for some reason.

| I've never heard of this anime or novel/manga before, but when I saw the premise I just had to put it on my to watch list. Now that it's come out, I have absolutely no regrets! I should pick up the original story perhaps, but I have no idea where to read it. |
