| Interesting start. The MC got a serious case of chuunibyou. The meowing scene was super cute. Kinda weird censorship here though. Blood was changed to tacky petals, bitch ( ビッチ ) was cut and sex slave was changed to sex friend (friends with benefits in the eng translation). |
| Honestly this is a decent start. Not that cringeworthy much smh. I can relate to Ishikawa, somehow. Not because i want to kill the most pretty girl in the class that badly. But rather the opposite of how to protect the girl from such a weirdge way as possible, that badly. In this case, not really that bad tho. Flying your damn bike, and told such a dad joke, nice cover xd. Yeah, I can see some good chemistry within them, and the environment even if its quite unbelievable for their ages, but yeah, its still interesting, to say the least. Hopefully they can keep it fresh and not dull enough so i can expect more wholesome interaction within those two oddballs xd, in the future... |

| Really good rom com the character are interesting kyoutaro is trying to stop his thoughts about killing and then yamada anna she is really tall amd how she really tried to push this jerk away and then kyoutaru throws his bike in the lake. Nice ed. |

| There was a brief flashback to Kyoutarou failing his middle school entrance exams while thinking "Me and Yamada have always been worlds apart". It's not a spoiler to say this part of his past is something that's in the manga but wasn't included as early as this. On the one hand, including one of his deeper influences to his character in epsiode 1 is a good hook and hopefully implies good things about how this 12-episode partial adaptation of an ongoing manga will reach some kind of pseudo-conclusion, but on the other hand it doesn't quite fit in the scene where it's placed. Kyoutarou failed his exams and ended up in a government school and clearly feels like a failure for it...but Yamada goes to the same school, and is kind of stupid. The distance he feels between himself and Yamada doesn't have anything to do with academics. That same scene was a rather sweet piece of romcom, though. He buys the magazine full of carefully taken photographs of Yamada looking very pretty but is totally turned off because "she looks like a complete stranger". He clearly wants to know her better rather than just look at her being pretty (not that he's immune to that; he did "use" the magazine, after all). |

One thing i was wondering, is the main-kun such a midget or is the girl so tall ? ALSO THE ENDING (WHICH IS THE OPENING) IS AN ABSOLUTE BANGER. Background music is interesting. It goes from typical comedy anime slapstick fair to a track with a ton of depth and piano solos etc to a minimalistic track with odd instruments. | Honestly, they're all messed up in the head! I didn't even plan to pick this up from the premise, but I saw some scenes around the internet and it looked a bit like Nagatoro (Middle School Ver.), so I thought I'd give it a try. Seems like the show I'll either grow to love or to hate. I'm not even sure whether this is just dark humor or reality satire. |
| So far this is a pretty unique romcom with a somewhat edgy male MC having murderous thoughts and Anna being a bit of an airhead. While she did laugh at Kyoutarou after she asked him why his bicycle went into the waterway I wonder if she realized it was really to distract from that guy trying to force her to give contact info with LINE (or whatever that was). So far I'm intrigued as to what will happen next. |

| I though I was reading a joke when I saw the synopsis, but it's actually quite amusing and funny, though pretty weird at first, but it might become something quite interesting with nothing like it, let's see what this anime has to offer more. |

| I know EVERYONE got cringe the first chapter because of the main character and you wondered, "How come in the end this girl will fall in love with him? Why did he make her laugh?" Look, we all went through that and I'd like to tell you not to be discouraged to continue this cute story. I know the main character is the mecca of embarrassment for his string of inner edgy thoughts, but things are going to change. What these two are going to form is a well-intentioned friendship, because to categorize this series as a romance would be a bit of a mistake, because romance is perhaps something very much in the background. What we will see here is how Ishikawa will be maturing mentally, that he is not the ruthless being he thinks he is and only cares about others, especially his friend Yamada. Also, Yamada's interest towards him of wanting to be his friend, is created for a reason, and that is that she, as you saw, is very tall and very developed for a girl of her age, so she is the subject of embarrassing comments of her looks. And adding to that, if you noticed, she's also a bit of a weirdo in her own way. The thing is, Yamada will play an important role of repelling those bad comments towards her in synergy of her personal development and so on. Give the series a chance and keep watching it. It's a quiet slice of life and these two fill your soul later on with their moments. I know that some people may not like this kind of story, but many others do; and they may have been repelled by the first episode without knowing what it's all about. Besides, there is a reason why his manga won the number 1 in 2021 in Japan's national poll of: "Which manga do you want to be adapted into anime?", and here it is. And as a last piece of information, the animation studio is Shin-Ei Animation, the same ones who were in charge with Takagi-san. Already by the third episode you will see a big change in the main character, because the adapted material advances quickly since the manga chapters are very short. |
| oh man, this is going to be a roller coaster, found myself cringing and laughing the entire episode, solid 10 for a pilot. MC is hilariously awkward, the meowing scene had me hollering laughing, and yamada is cute as hell but smart? Seems air headed but is definitely not just an idiot So good. Hope ichikawa gets his bike back |

| Wow, why the score is so low after just one episode? I thought it was a great one. Doesn't look like the typical rom com, rarely you'll see the main girl to be that awkward and the mc is hilariously edgy. The humor worked for me too |
| I'm intrigued, so far. Yamada feels a bit off and it's hilarious. It was kinda awkward at times. It was bearable, not WataMote levels. I'm looking forward to see how it'll develop itself. |

| Nice start I really like the manga so it's good to see it adapted like that especially how the beginning is compared to all the development later |
