| You have a character who's a fan favourite, enought to go from side character to main, but you want said character to lose a battle against the big bad, to show they're real assholes. How do yo do that with minimum fan rage? You make said character achieve something amazing, geting severely wounded in the process, so once the character is defeated later on, you can say it's because of said wounds. I hope this is not the case, but this has happened so many times it's not even funny anymore. EDIT: BTW, Jura said in one chapter the title of the Saints was not given according to power. No, more exactly he said the power of the saints was not even, him being the weakest. Personally I think Mashima made a mistake using the saints as a unit of power measure, but works for placing a minimum requirement. tl;dr Erza is boss. |

| The second she got the 1st lot, I knew she'd pick them all, but still. So cool~ I wish we'd gotten to see the entire fight, but that was still well done. I love Erza. *.* (My face was pretty much like Natsu's. I also loved how he and Gray laughed when Erza chose all 100 and that Jellal got to see the fight. =^^=) |

| As much as I hate to say it, I liked this chapter. A lot of you are covering for the author using such arguements like that the Fairy Tail world is vast and that there is a huge gap between the saints and I think that is all true but I don't believe Mashima is at the same thinking lvl as most. :/ I don't know, I hope he proves me wrong. He's proven us wrong countless times, Fairy Tail is too unpredictable. |

It was Mashima himself who told us that the Wizard Saints vary in power, to the point where Jura (one of the Wizard Saints) is a joke compared to Makarov, etc. You are giving the guy no credit whatsoever LOL. Everyone is hyping up the Wizard Saints for no reason. It is just an honoury title, those who possess it are a little more than role models for other magicians. Mages like Gildarts, Hades, Bluenote and Laxus are even more powerful than Jura. Think of it as the Jonin-ninja rank in Naruto. Naruto, Sasuke, etc are Chunin by Rank but their actual power is kage-level. |

| It was a pretty good chapter and the execution to accentuate the excitement by narrating it from 3rd person view was amazing. One of the best chapter from Fairy Tail, most of the time I just go with 'meh'. |

| Again....about the 10 SW.: 1-Jura himself pointed out that the power even among the 10 SWs varies greatly (saying that he cant even compare to makarov. 2-Imagine Makarov in there(for instance). Fairy Law=Insta-Win. 3-There have been hints that Erza is on her way to become SW (maybe at the end of the series she will be nominated) 4-Instead of taking the pumpkin's words for granted(as if its mashima speaking himself) consider it being a normal spokesman exagerating and advertising the power of their monsters.(which is exactly what it is) |

(unless Raven Tail's pulling some nullification trick again) Mage-saint is just a title. Sure their strong, but it doesn't necessarily mean that all of them have to be at Makarov or Gildarts level. It depends on their achievements as well. |

| Oh! No Erza be careful what are all those wounds and stuff. It's a waist to leave marks in such a beautiful body. Anyway although it was badass and all i have to say that this a little typical Mashima shounen stuff. Giving her a glory moment now so that he can leave the big bad guy to Natsu again the next time and her only defeating some second grade guy. She really has the equivalent position of Zoro in One Piece. Really badass and awesome(well ok Erza has "hot as hell" too) but never getting the glory moment. The difference is that Luffy is a lot better than Natsu and it feels more excusable when he gets to beat the big bad guy. Btw while others where laughing, sweating or crying by watching her take those 100 monsters i want to point to a particular different stare from a certain person.  |

| I just don't know , I was left speechless , not from excitement but from how bad this chapter was . Ok she went and pwned them all , woohoo , but look : for past 10 chapters they were getting their ass beaten like hell and now when we are all down natsu goes and almost beats enemy guild leader and erza wins the competition aint it kinda predictable and cliche ? not to mention all shounen series this week were as poor in quality as death note 2nd half but nvm . It's up to you to decide . |
