| From the plot of this up to that point, I thought he was going to MONCH that dryad, but instead, surprise segs lol. Surely a surprise, but a welcomed one. Though I didn't expect it to go hentai at the end haha. Based. Now I expect him being able to acquire skills by smashing too and not just eating. Also harem preggo plz or no balls. Seriously lol Anyway, the pet peeve of mine about mc having lost an arm didn't last long though I expected him to regenerate it with an acquired skill. Also I expected him to eat the great mage's corpse to acquire his skills, sad it didn't happen. His ogre stomach plus toxin resistance surely would've managed it no problem. |

@ZXEAN Quick search suggests Tensei Slime actually came afterwards, both in the novel and light novels, just got adapted first because...less squicky and morally grey in the explicit sense. Not that Rimuru doesn't straight up commit grand murder in season 2
| @holdingnothing How many times you guys gonna quote me. I know that and as I said before it doesn't change the fact that the writing is awful. All the slime isekai's characters are memorable and likable unlike this one. The world building is soo much better. |

As much as him eating and "sleeping" with everything is to be expected the end of this episode just made it too "fanservice-y" imo that all the coolness that had built up in ep 1 & 2 has gotten lost on me......I hope the eps don't turn into a running "today I XXXed a ___" continuous thing....but we'll see... Luckily this is only 12 eps instead of more (for now) so I guess I'll stick with it.....for now.... |
