I thought it was really good, did justice to the original webcomic, i cant wait for the whole anime to come to fruition after wating for so long, reding the comic was an amazing experience and i believe this anime will be too :)

They fit a good amount of content not featured in the Manhwa along with the first few chapters of the manhwa, really good pacing and even enjoyable for those who didn't read the Manhwa or light novel.

One of the best Manhwas and the Anime was until now very good with animations that are beautiful plus the Musik is also peak i only recommend it to watch you don´t waste your time on this anime.

Not a great start. The cold opening felt disconnected, like it was an excuse to open with an action sequence. The pacing is a bit off overall, there's a lot of world building which is fine but it left the main plot dangling before giving me any reason to care about it.

I hope I'm wrong but it's got generic isekai power fantasy vibes right now, especially with all the focus on how weak the protagonist is initially.

@Kureigu13 it is pretty generic but does everything right thats what makes the manwha awesome. also the opening foreshaows a future major event

This episode is perfect. Building character and introducing the story from solo leveling is easy to understand for blind viewers or not readers from Manhwa. I like how A-1 pictures realize this masterpiece, Manhwa, to anime. Good job, A-1. We hope this anime can continue until the end.

Tremendous first chapter. There were many things different from the manwha but I still loved the animation and the voice of the protagonist is to my complete liking.

i've only read a few chapters of the manwha, so I'm unsure what in the episode is pulled from later chapters or is anime only for exposition but overall I really enjoyed how the first episode was put together. Great choice for where to end the first episode, the voice actors and animation were both on point. Hopeful that this quality stays consistent over the season.

I had large expectations for this anime, so perhaps that's why the trope of introducing a death trap that would kill most characters that appear as a group felt overdone to me. Perhaps because of my experiences watching DanMachi, and Sinbad's Adventures/Magi, I immediately foresaw the death flags on the side characters as soon as the secret passage unveiled itself.

Despite this, I enjoy the concept of the weakest gradually growing to be (one of?) the strongest, and am eager to see what happens once 진우 (MC) survives this ordeal!

First episode kicks off with some slight explanation of the system and power structure. As it turns out, our MC is at the bottom of it all. The direction of the episode was pretty predictable with everyone entering the extended dungeon and getting REKTD!

However, I am interested in seeing how they get out this, on to episode 2!

Having already read a bit of the manhwa I was wondering how they would go about adapting the introduction to Sung Jin-Woo and the hunters, but honestly was about what I would expect.
Was also nice seeing the detail in animation for that one scene with Cha Hae-In, gonna be expecting more on that level later on for sure.
Wasn't surprised about the cliffhanger, but hopefully they don't do as many of them, and especially so early on.

First two episodes should have been one extended one. For a anime that has been hyped up since it's announcement, the current production is kinda poor. Especially the decision to place cliffhanger after cliffhanger even though the story really isn't that deep and special to justify that. The general plot is obvious from the first few minutes, putting a cliffhanger in a situation the viewer basically already knows the outcome of is just bad directing.

I can see the effort in the non action animation scenes is not really there but those action scenes go crazy hard. Literal no room for complaints on what the people want. I'll give it its flowers.

Edit: The main voice actors for the male and female lead are on fire. She made even me uncomfortable with how she was addressing him. His monologue getting to the end was fire. The others are painfully almost below average. This is on the English dub btw.

A few years ago someone said something about this Webtoon and it kind of excited me. It’s weird how the second episode was available before the first, but I’m not blaming the series itself because that’s not how episodes work.

Anyways Jinwoo seems to be a genuine guy. Unlike most series, training can’t make your supernatural abilities any better. This would be like if in Dragon Ball your power level was set from birth (kind of like how Goku was thought as low class because he was born with a low power level but to this point in DB he’s superior to Vegeta).

Why are these statues moving? What’s gonna happen with Jinwoo and the others? Will Jinwoo take Joohee’s hints and TAKE HER OUT ON A DATE?!

I’m excited to see how this progresses.

me: why the hell is that warship saying they'd be of no use? (a few minutes later (narrator): conventional weapons are ineffective)

me: oh, the mc must be one of these s-rank hunters that saves the group who was fighting those ants (a few minutes later: nope, the mc is an e-rank hero. weakest of the weak)

the dungeon at the end completely ramped up the tension and stakes though. wow. very interested what will happen next

also, "solo leveling"? i have an idea what that means (in my head), but no clue if it's actually what i think it means. (i'm not going to read the show description/summary to find out, either. no spoilers!)
