*Ruijerd and Eris suddenly stop walking and become paralyzed with fear*
Ruijerd: Rudeus, don't move a muscle!
*cow friend gets so scared it yeets itself from the cliff*

Rudeus: I have to keep Man-God a secret for now.

Orsted: Do you happen to know Man-God?
Rudeus: Ah yeah the guy I see all the time in my dream.

*Orsted leaves after 1 attack*
Eris: Let me provoke him even further with my fireball technique.
Rudeus: Let me exhaust my remaining energy provoking him and make him turn around instead of saving myself and my team as the "big bad" was leaving.

The production quality is great, but the plot induced stupidity isn't. Superd even warned Rudeus to not move a muscle and he just chatted up Orsted for no reason. Only reason characters like Eris or Rudeus are even alive at this point is because of plot armor, especially Eris who's so gungho about fighting anyone and everyone all the time. She learned nothing from when she was kidnapped as a child.

@dabdabgoose Yes they explained it in this episode, doesn't matter if they feared Orsted because of a curse or if he's strong, if your friend who's more experienced than you warned you to not move, then do not move. He saw both of his friends frozen in fear and he decided to hold up the subject of fear, instead of just letting him through?

Doesn't matter if Rudeus would've died or not, Orsted left them when they were still alive, there is no reason to further provoke him. Even if Rudeus would've died, at least Orsted still left Superd and Eris alive. Provoking him even further might cause more harm to his friends.

@ToG25thBaam at that point he didn't attack him yet and had no idea if he could tank his shots, sure he looks powerful but Rudeus Magic power is enough to even kill Ruijerd if it landed.

Also do you expect people to always think logically in highly emotional situations?

It's easy to play Mr Hindsight.

@dabdabgoose Play what hindsight? Everyone around him was frozen in fear and he decided to call out Orsted for no reason. There is no "highly emotional situation" without Rudeus holding back Orsted and just let him walk away.

It's like if you walked into a bank robbery, without knowing it's being robbed, firearms not visible, but the people around you were acting fidgety and asked you to not make any extra movement, and you still went on and call out the robber, worse yet, stopped the robber from leaving and potentially endanger everyone else, despite warning from the people around you.

@ToG25thBaam Orsted started the conversation, Rudeus who isn't effected by the curse and is confused why the others are standing still not even facing Orsted when talking which is just weird, like I said before they were cursed unnaturally Rudeus was more confused on their actions than understanding it because it was un-natural, the guy who basically knows who they are without ever meeting says their names but doesn't know Rudeus would certainly make him intrigued.

Keep in mind the characters involved here, without a curse Eris wouldn't be scared of anything and that would of made no sense to Rudeus on what he was seeing, she is hardly the kind of person to judge someone's power level.

@dabdabgoose I went back and checked, you're right, Orsted engaged first, confirmed Superd and Eris identity and walked away, and then only Rudeus called out Orsted which led to everything that happened.

Doesn't change the fact that Superd asked Rudeus not to move and yet he still did.
