You would likely get noticeably less cringe clickbait titled video essays from Anitubers like "Frieren saved Madhouse".
How exactly did Frieren not exactly save Madhouse?

At least in terms of mainstream popularity, Frieren is their biggest in almost six years.

They would have a better choice of OP, for one.

@mo_lave Who composed the opening song nailed it.

With KyoAni, there's a chance for fanservce. They'll make it happen for sure. Subtle or blatant it will happen.

All it takes is just one filler episode e.g. dream sequence, and there you go.

"Manga readers are annoying, all they do is complain or spoil the anime we discuss in an anime forum.
They should really do their whining at manga forums.

@mo_lave LMAO, "MaInStReAm PoPuLaRiTy". Who cares gives two flying fxxks about discourse/trends in Western normie fandom? They've been consistently getting lead studio work on shows without production pause in Japan. What is "flavour of the month" popular amongst Western tourists on social media, who usually only watch battle shonen, is utterly irrelevant.

@EvaUnit02NZ You keep emphasizing that it's just the "stupid West" xD Frieren dominated the viewership ratings in Japan and in the late hours of the broadcast, and besides, "Western tourists" reject Frieren because there is no fight every second like in their favorite battle shounen xD

A useless discussion. I'm very happy that Madhouse made this adaptation with love and care. I would definitely want them to adapt the upcoming seasons of Frieren with the same team.

@Ba-Cii10 Doesn't change a thing. Madhouse was in no danger of going anywhere, regardless of whether or not they had a "MaInStReAm HiT" anywhere in the world for a while.

@ZXEAN It would have highest score even after it finishes airing.

It is. That post was made while Frieren was still airing.

i will up the score more if this is kyoani knowing the future anime sequels will have guaranteed great production quality

the reason i score anime adaptations as 7/10 as the highest most of the time is because anime sequels usually have a downgrade look at examples like one punch man, mushoku tensei and even attack on titan with all the 3dcg hate it gets on its sequels
@deg you rate those sequels low in rating. Why lowering score for good season though?

Yo mr.deg, nice to see ya after long long time. How are you doing
Should I troll in the troll bait threads? It is kinda idiotic to be logical in the troll bait threads. Well, it will depend on my mood.

@deg yep 👍. One punch man is getting tokyo ghoul treatment. I think I should not watch season 2 and 3. Instead manga reading will be better

Music will probably be better

kinda agree with u, for the OP and ED kinda wished that it was more folk vibe and less pop.

but nonetheless, yoasobi and milet drop some banger tho 👍
@tudututut The studio generally doesn't handle the music, at least not directly. The OP and ED music and the OST music used in the show are done by very different people, all of which were likely contracted in to work on the show. Evan call, who did the OST for Frieren, did an excellent job, realistically KyoAni wouldn't make that any better or worse unless someone else got chosen to do the music. As for the opening, again it really depends on who gets chosen, YOASOBI did the opening, and in general most seem to think they weren't the right choice to fit this show. Where as Yorushika and milet's work from what I've seen is well received for fitting the show much better.

Unless there's major changes in staff such as the director, Kyoto animation's main difference will be the animation, as they do much more of their production with their own in house staff vs contracting more staff in like Madhouse and most of the industry does.
I like to watch some anime, I like to talk about some anime, I dislike wars over some anime, but more than anything I love to live my life, anime is an enjoyable and entertaining addition onto my life but it's not my whole life.
