| Finally, a battle! Aura was merely introduced to this episode named after her, but it's still great. I love how ice cold Fern can be. She has the chops to voice Enma Ai in an alternate dimension. Stark still leaves a lot to be desired. He has a lot of potential, but he is mainly cowardly. |

| Hoho, what a beautiful looking sakugafest! It was really pleasant to watch. Great direction and awesome visuals, accompanied by very nice soundtrack playing in the background. I might not enjoy this show's plot or its main characters that much, but it can't be denied that it has high production quality. |
| I absolutely loved this episode MADHOUSE FUCKING COOKED 🔥🔥🔥 First, we start with Frieren descending upon the masses of puppets controlled by Aura the guillotine, one of the seven sages of destruction, yet despite the enemies that surround her, Frieren is as calm and composed as ever. I mean I know their battle has yet to truly begin, especially when Aura hasn't used her spell of obedience, but I can already tell from what she said to Fireren. If it took her a long time to gather up this early of puppets, then she ain't all that. Come on... Also, having ONLY puppets as your main invasion unit is such a brain-dead tactic. No flying demons, shapeshifting demons, or whatever... Even if she were to invade, she'd only win through her dependence on her obedience spell and through sheer numbers. Go back home lil sis. U ain't her. The spotlight in this ep is Fern and Starkr This is their first major incident where their actions are not commanded by Frieren, they independently move using their judgements. Fern vs the bloodbender and Stark vs the copycat demonic loli. Yet again I love the parallel between disciples and masters!
In the end, Fern finished Lugner off with an overwhelming burst of spells while Stark finished Linie off with 1 swing of overwhelming of destructive power. A speedy caster and a 1 shot warrior. This party is fucking sickkkk🔥 |
