| This is the first part of the remake that I outright disliked. It was considerably weaker compared to the 90s version. No epic walk to the Ministry, no incredible guitar OST, no amazing battle of wills. If anything, this felt more like what I would have expected from a watered down anime original / filler version. A real shame since the story has felt considerably polished up until the point of my favorite old school season one moment. I was already doubtful that this version could top the OG season two, but now I'm really going to lower my expectations and just treat this for what it is - a bridge to a potentially complete adaptation. |

| Of course Kenshin stopped Sano's friend with his help as well, the bombs were a mistake and he actually helped them even though he was from the ones who founded this government, that ending can be worrying for them though. |

| Sanosuke knew that his friend’s plan wasn’t going to work and that it’s not what their captain would have wanted, but he still went along with it. I think it’s because he wanted his friend to realize it on his own. Sanosuke also showed how well he understands Kenshin, and that really changed my impression of him. |
