| 1.5x speed is my limit; even at 1.5x speed, I can't enjoy anime at speeds higher than 1.5x because sometimes I can't understand what is being said if the voice actor has a bad accent or if his voice is not clear. |

| I watch on either 1.1x or 1.2x because 1x feels like characters talk too slowly. Sped up to that, it sounds like how normal people talk. I do the same for a lot of Youtube videos. |
| I watched Gundam SEED Destiny at 4x speed, because watching that stupid boy Shinn Asuka at real time would put me to sleep. Same with his blonde psycho bitch. Again, I don't want to get to know some stupid kids in real time. Kids that make me want to bodily punish them like their soft parents never did. Stupid kids that make me want to chew on their asses like a drill sergeant. Took that punkass boy forever to get a real girlfriend. Playing anime at hypersonic speed sure helps when an anime is all TMI. Studios should save such details or trivial shit for someone that cares. |

| I mean my attention span is short too, but what even is the point if you watch everything sped up lol. Anime should be enjoyable as is, it's just a hobby. The only time I watch 1.25 or 1.5 speed is if I am rewatching an old season of something that got a sequel after many years and I want to refresh my memory of the story. |
| I did that one time when I was drunk and one show I watched was boring af. I got such a good laugh watching it at faster speed and hearing high pitched voices. 11/10 would recommend. |

They're probably just trying to see who can have the highest completed number for anime they've "watched". To me there's no point of watching something in a higher speed then the normal one. Like I said in my first post on the second page of this forum, it's not really watching anime if people watch it on a faster speed. |

| If I like the show: Normal Speed If I'm watching my PTW on my list that I'm not interested: x1.5 Speed If the show is generic isekai: x2 Speed cause most of the plot are linear with every isekai genre that I watch like I die, I isekai, I got power, I will kill the demon lord and so on. If I wanna suffer (for example Abunai sisters and ex-arm): x4 Speed cause I don't have to think about what I am consuming and don't wanna suffer on normal speed I had enough 💀 |

| Other than that, I only watch good anime or top-tier stuff at normal speed. Besides, I'm surprised that most of you kids have been reading subtitles so slow. Imagine if someone paid a kid to read fast. Would the kid do it or be up to the challenge? If you're really PhD material, then hypersonic to lightspeed reading and a having keen memory should be no surprise to you (my reading is ultrasonic at the very least). Is your memory keen enough? |
