So yeah, you can breathe through it from the outside and provide the recipient with some air so he can have a bit more air in his lungs because, you know, magic, and if you can breathe some air bubbles through it, it's only fair that you can also cut it from the inside if you try a bit harder. The Mist Hashira should have tried a bit harder from the beginning, that's all, it's his fault, also, why don't you believe in magic? |

| One of the issues I have with arc is the upper moons. They are very forgettable, I read the manga and I honestly barely remember them, their abilities, etc. I even forgot their names, in my mind I called them the one who cries and the vase guy. Daki and Gyutaro were much more memorable and their backstory is great. Also I love Kanroji, but Tokito not as much, even with his relevant backstory. And him being trapped in that water and getting out when it was convenient doesn’t help… |

| The clones have all fused together, mainly due to the anger Hatengu going all crazy and fusing the other clones by force and as a result, Zohakuten has emerged, unleashing very good quality CGI wooden creatures after Tanjiro after his powered-up sword failed to cut the head of the tiny "fear" Hatengu. I can't blame Tanjiro from getting furious with Zohakuten calling him and the other demon slayers "awful villains" and his angry outburst in response was very satisfying. It doesn't change the face that his battle has gotten a lot tougher now. Meanwhile, Tokito's last ditch attempt to break out with whatever air was left inside of him failed. Gyokko was acting like a typical villain with his dumb monologues before finally checking the shack next to him, which contained Haganezuka and another swordsmith. Haganezuka was solely focused on crafting a new sword and Gyokko got rather irritated that he was being ignored. Even his warning attacks wasn't enough to stop Haganezuka from his crafting, but we did finally get to see his face reveal and, I must admit, he's very good looking! XD While that was happening, Kotetsu arrived to help Tokito. Despite getting severely injured by a stray fish enemy, Kotetsu was able to pass his air into the water vase and, more crucially, into Tokito's lungs, which helped him have enough power to finally break out of his watery prison. I do look forward to seeing Tokito back in action. The sooner Gyokko is taken out for good, the better. |
| BRO THE MUSIC, THE STONE DRAGONS AND TANJIROS MOVEMENTS WAS INSANE!!!! that literally felt like... IDK WHAT IT FELT LIKE BUT IT WAS AWESOME! and the unnatural focus hes got to finish that sword is so good plus we finally get to see his face which is a lot more handsome than i would've expected. like he kinda reminded me of inosuke. anyways im giving this ep an 11/10 for how cool this was. |

| Jesus! How the hell are they supposed to beat Upper Four?! He seems more formidable than Gyokko to be honest. Gyokko’s been quite the disappointment imo…He’s not half as tough as Hantengu or even Gyutaro & Daki Tanjiro’s stand against Zohakuten feels like a big change in him; none of his usual hesitance or conflicting conscience. He was pretty bad ass without even drawing his sword |

Idonthaveaname_ said: Exactly my thoughts. Demon slayer has awesome and long fights. Watching it weekly is a pain cause it just gets more intense after every episode and it's hard to be patient. That's why it looks like pacing is an issue cause they want all the juice as quickly as possible. Once the main fight (all the upcoming episodes) are animated, all the complains will easily wash away.but HEY everybody was saying season 2's pacing was bad, though after the main fight those thoughts flushed away. That's it. |

| Haganezuka's face got revealed a d to be fair I didn't expect him to look this good in the anime. And, how did those air bubbles pass through that water structure in which Muchiro was trapped but the air in the surrounding didn't. If there is an explanation, please specify. Only 4 episodes left, expect studio ufotable to present a jaw dropping scene once again like the last season. That upper moon 5 is just dumb, should have killed Haganezuka at that moment. |
| Really went full dumbass shounen with that super redundant explanation of how the 4 emotion demons fused together as it was very obviously happening on screen. I think the parallel fights happening combined with the lack of any real buildup for this arc is a major reason why I don't really feel any investment. And like bruh where tf is the boob hashira? I feel like there's no way she wouldn't be able to show up and help one of these two by now. I figured she would have saved mist boy but then they wouldn't be able to payoff the "your good deeds will be returned" plot point that mist boy is learning for the first time. |
