| You know, until the beginning of this episode, this show could completely pass off as the anime version of "Casually Explained: Is She Into You?". Amane says she was looking for ways to bring them closer but if Mahiru didn't step up, I wouldn't rule out the possibility that Amane would end up thinking Mahiru was Canadian lol. That aside, the ship sailed! After 11 episodes it was clear that if this was to move forward, it had to be Mahiru's doing. And what a bold way to do it. Of course there had to be some annoying randoms but thank goodness we have Mahiru to shut them up savagely. The only thing missing from the last scene was the kiss but it was nice that they made their feelings clear to each other and to the viewers. A lovely way to close the series with them as a couple. Anyway, while I think Amane doing mental gymnastics to convince himself that Mahiru didn't like him was getting comical and drawn out, it was still great fluff and I'm happy with it. |

| And in the end, they were still sitting on the damn couch. It started out pretty strong, but become increasingly more and more frustrating to watch them trudge through iterations of the same conversations (while on the couch). They could've been sure of their feeling like 4 episodes ago, but no, it had to drag out to the very last instant and for very little payoff. Maybe it's an adaptation issue and the LN is much better, as the rating would seem to indicate, but this certainly did not sell me on it. |
Such a satisfying ending and wholesome anime all the time.... I love this kind of relaxing, lighthearted and simple romance, I would totally watch season 2 to see how those two act as proper couples now ^.^ 9/10 for this beautiful anime. |

| I'm glad it ended well—another official dating couple has formed this season! This and Tomo-chan is a girl! As a romance anime enjoyer, I can't ask for anything more. It's wholesome till the end. 8/10 for me. |

| Animation and execution might not be one of the best since Project No.9 is not a great studio, but story is still great. I don't understand the hate this show is receiving. Can't really expect anything from haters, especially MAL anime reviewers anyway. Keeps baiting with negativity and hate as always and doesn't want other people to enjoy things lol. |
| Not a perfect ending by any means, but a very satisfying one for sure : cute moments, adorable moments even, some humor, and at last the conclusion we were all hoping for! Now then, I hope we get a season 2 because I'm curious to see how their relationship evolves as an official couple. Overall, I enjoyed the show more than I would have thought possible at first. It had good comedy and drama (while the pacing seemed a little off at times), the slice of life moments were pleasant. 7/10 for me! |
 Lovely, just lovely! Despite Amane-kun being a bit of a blockhead at first he turned around nicely and managed to see that it's actually the love of his life he's dealing with. I hope we'll get a second season where Mahiru get's revenge on her asshole parents, among other things. 10/10 |

| Ooo a kiss? On the cheek tho rip lol. Welp ig the reveal to everyone happend during that scavenger race, pretty unexpected lol. Mahiru really speaking fax to those mobs huh, serves them right lol. Welp, this episode was what we were all waiting for, the confession finally happened o: What a heart-warming hug, too bad no kiss tho lmao. The final frame artwork was pretty amazing too! What a nice and sweet anime, and now it has ended. |

| Gentle, wholesome romance anime. Still some weakness points, but was fine overall. Good Couple. 6/10 |

| Finally it has come to an end and a nice episode to end it on. We start with some nice and bold intimate moments, amane surprised us with the dialogue of shutting mahiru with something other than fingers, but she just uno reversed with a sweet kiss on the cheek. She just surpasses everytime.  The boys support group of kadowaki and itsuki did a good job of making amane realize and encourage him to be more open with mahiru. Homies for real. We also get a nice indirect kiss scene with the wholesome ice cream spoon feeding. Mahirus most adorabe expression so far for sure. Amane was totally smitten to the moon.  Sports day is here. We get some backstory on chitose with her going through some tooubles cause of her being close to itsuki and also a achiever in sports. Glad she still keeps her bubbly attittude and charges on. I love her character and her relationship with itsuki. Also i think amane after hearing the backstory and seeing them both cheering for each other got a bit of motivation for himself. Itsuki further plays the wingman and designs the event just for mahiru and amane (mvp for sure) with the perfect task papers. Amane with the "beautiful" and not so surprisingly Mahiru with the "most dearest to me" infront of the entire school, showing she is finally she is ready to openly declare her relationship with amane. Of course repurcussions were there, sore losers attacking amane, especially that one boy trying to put him down with insults, but not only amane took it calmly and maturedly, but steps in Shiina who not only roasts the shit out the guy, but destroys him methodically and verbally exposing his materialistic clown behavior while in the most sweet adorable manner with a cute smile and then proceeds to compliment amane infront of everyone in the most wholesome way. *Standing ovation* my respect for her just went even further. Best girl. Then the final scene. Nice setting, beautiful background ost to match it. Amane opens up about everything, from his reserved nature, his actualy feelings, how they transformed and his present desires in every way while mahiru taking it all in happily in his arms, i loved how transperent he was, holding nothing back, plus more importantly now showing his resolve with firstly the confession, then his goal of not only being a worthy person for mahiru proving she made the right choice of showing her love for him, but also wanting to be a better person for himself as well. Total chad mindset love to see it and it should be. Then cementing the entire thing with his wish of making her happy and the promis of cherishing her. I was totally smiling over the scene. Well done my boy amane. Mahirus response expression and voice tone totally said everything.  Great way to end the series. My final thoughts i would give it a 8.5/10. Even though Animation quality went downhill and they really cut some scenes and rushed af which made it a little disappointing. Overally i am quite satisfied with the adaptation. It was the biggest dose of diabetes and sugar for me this season of all the other animes and i loved it. ill just read the LN to quench my thirst for the total satisfaction and further dosages xD. Speaking of LN i hope we have enough material to get a season 2 cause i would love to see their daily lives as a couple which would raise the sugar through the roof tbh and we can move on from "become a couple already" to "get married already". Fingers crossed till then. Another wholesome beautiful romcom added to the collection, thank you for the treat :3 |

| I really like how they confessed (we even got a kiss at the beginning) and started going out at the very end, though I would love to see more of them as a couple now, it's good to end on a happy note but now I need more xD |

| This was a good final episode. And yet, looking back at the entire show, I can't help but notice just how boring it was. Yes, it definitely had it's cute and wholesome moments but it was still kind of bland. Most of the show happens in 1 classroom or Amane's room. Mahiru is the definition of perfection and I couldn't help but roll eyes on several occasions seeing her doing various stuff for Amane. I don't know, she may well have the #1 spot of "The best GF that can't ever exist in real life". Too perfect often equals to boring and boring often equals to forgettable. Congrats to the couple anyways. They finally accepted the obvious. Definitely not the best romance show this season. Tomo-chan, despite being a goofier show, is leagues better IMO. |

| This was better than I expected. I thought the MC wasn’t as bad a character as some people in other threads make him out to be. This ending episode wrapped up his character development quite nicely. As for Mahiru, some of the stuff she said or did was cringe at times, but overall she was a cute character. Hated it when the animators drew her as a little kid in some scenes, so I wish the animation was more consistent. Oh, and they should have put more effort into the sofa. With so much screen time it got, it deserved a better art render. The MC’s classmates were such assholes when they swarmed him up this episode. Like, wtf were those guys thinking lol. The supporting cast was forgettable but nothing bad. They hinted at some backstory for the red haired girl though, so if there’s gonna be another season, it would be nice if they focused on her story. |
| Mahiru dropping her distance act in class, giving him the final push. I did miss the teasing a bit that made the past few episodes just that bit more special. A messed up kiss would have been nice, something that would have made both laugh. It was a good confession, but it could have been even better, perhaps. |

| What a wholesome show this was all throughout, I loved it, thought I definitely thought that it could have been even better, especially in terms of the production, plus I heard that there were some cut LN contents, but that one is pretty common for LN adaptations sadly. Anyway, LET'S GO, Amane and Mahiru are finally official. Mahiru passive aggressively telling those dudes off was so nice, she was speaking nothing but facts, budget Ayanokoji got destroyed. We've only just began man, I really hope they make more seasons, I wanna see how they'll become even more intimate than they already are, plus more of the school's reactions. 8.5/10 |

| I know this is the ending I wanted, but I felt annoyed for the entire episode about how it took so long for this to happen. The pay-off was more like a frustration rather than a celebration for this couple. I knew why this took so long even if it was obvious for both of them that they like each other. BUT no "close" friends (and a boy/girl at that) will do the things they did for the majority of the series without realizing their feelings that long, heck the "flirts" and "skinships" would certainly lead to sex irl. |
