| Finally the massive fight finally ended in Ep_13.... But deku is beat up really bad. They said if he damaged his arm anymore he won’t be able to use his arms properly Again. Why does it makes me sad that even getting to use 3 quirks he is no where near to All might. As All might only used one quirk. |

| Wow. What a way to end the fight; not with a bang or a massive cliffhanger or such, but with a mellow tune, and then silence. And then we see from the preview that we do not simply jump into some other arc (I'm not a manga reader, I don't know what to anticipate), but instead we will deal with the aftermath of this costly battle- and that's how it should be. I hope that the rest of the season is as laser-focused as it has been, with our heroes recuperating and regrouping, ending with All For One's defeat, once for all. Or maybe that is something that would happen five seasons later, I really don't know. |

| 13 episodes. 13 perfect episodes. I'm really surprised at how good Boku no Hero turned out this season. Not even exaggerating to say this was one of the best ARCs I have ever seen tho the "want to be saved" part was meh. 10/10 |

| Well that's the end of this arc I guess. Really didn't expect Shigaraki to get away from this battle alive. I guess compress is dead tho? I mean a whole lot of shit got fucked up that's for sure. We'll see how serious the aftermath of all this actually is for the world. |
| This is one of the saddest episode in the series so far! The body count just keeps adding up, and so is the number of wounded people! When "Might + U" OST played at the end of the episode, I felt a little bit of hope for the heroes. But, the healing and mental recovery will take a long time. The heroes have to mourn their decesased comrades first before getting back up on their feet and fighting again. All else aside, Mr. Compress' face reveal is awesome! Love how Studio Bones utilized the Creature Rejection Clan/Mansion scene in this episode so that it's now part of Mr. Compress' flashback and in his point of view, too! Wow! Looking forward to the new OST of the 2nd cour. And the new black-and-white title card that will be used from here on out will be a refreshing change! |

| Glad to see that there were heroes who ended up losing their life, as this has been one of the things that really infuriates me with this show. Yet I wish there were more deaths tho. Other than that, it was a good arc and one that I have anticipated for quite a long time. |

| And so ends the famous war arc. All in all, Bones did a really good job adapting what must've been a difficult cour to bring to life. As opposed to other arcs, this was basically non-stop action, with very little in the way of down time. Even more dialogue heavy episodes, like episodes 10 and 11, had revelations and developments that will have ripples throughout the rest of the story and had some of this arc's juiciest moments. Pacing wise it was damn near perfect, of course some episodes had a little too much recap, but I understand that certain episodes needed to end on certain scenes, and besides they relied on anime original content to pad things out more than expected. Basically, every chapter was given the right amount of focus and nothing dragged or felt too quick. In terms of animation, it funnily enough reflected how I feel about the arc itself. There's nothing quite on the same level as Deku vs Todoroki or Endeavor vs High End (aka Nakumura didn't show up at all which is pretty odd considering this is the show's biggest arc to date) and there are hiccups here and there. But while the highs aren't quite as high, neither are the lows, and so overall it's the most consistent season yet. Every episode had at least 1 or 2 insanely well animated moments (with some like episodes 4 and 8 having even more) and the overall art was pretty good even if the bland backgrounds are unfortunately still here. The final episode of this cour itself was a good enough finale. I still maintain that this battle kind of fizzles out, with it climaxing around episodes 9-11, but this was still a solid conclusion, ending on a sad note with both sides having to call it quits. The use of Might U at the end was a great touch, linking Shigaraki back to Eri in how deep inside, he's also a crying child begging for a hero. And would you look at that, Bones added back in the cut MVA content! I was honestly shocked to see this stuff, and they smartly re-contextualized it as Compress looking back and realizing he loved the League despite all their hardships. Better late than never. |

| Well, this episode was thrilling. Deku's mind speech in the last moment shows how far he is from his goal. Now if the other characters had more screentime this would be a great blast. |
