RIP Tonari. Imagine surviving Fushi's Final Destination effect 40 years ago, then dying after being with him for two days, 40 years later. Sadge. But I think that’s what she wanted, to help Fushi with her poison resistance. Sigh… Also, damn, SIX generations of Hayase. Damn. At least the current one will stay for much longer. I wonder how many centuries passed by in those six generations. It can't be six since they wouldn’t serve until their 100.

Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load.

Weirdly fast paced episode. Feels like I've been just fed with a lot of things all at once. Tonari came and died in so fast wth.

Also, how many generations will Hayase's obsession towards Fushi will go on? LMAO do they have nothing else to do in their life.

I finally restarted this show after quite a while. Not bad at all, but by now it's clear the plot is designed around everyone around Fushi dying, since that's the only way they grow up. Not sure how I feel about that..

The second episode had quite a time jump too. Will Fushi reunite with Pyoran soon?

Decent episode overall

I think the fact that so many years pass with so little detail is pretty good because it implies that Fushi does not perceive time the same way that "normal" people do. He talks about being excited to meet the new iteration of Hayase as if the events were not 20 years apart. I agree it would be cool to have explored his relationships with the other Hayases in more depth but I think the way the show went about it makes sense.

World indeed seems to have stayed about the same but progress had been very slow for the vast majority of human history.

That's what I thought as well. It makes sense that the pacing is so fast since this story is told from the perspective of an immortal being. To Fushi, seeing new generations come and go is like to us checking out what new anime is coming out the next season.

The animation started to get sloppy this soon? this is already a bad sign, the animation was pretty fucking bad in a lot of places, I hope it doesn't get worse from here but I know it will. Let's see how much I can take with that shitty animation, if I get pissed enough I will drop this anime since I'm in no mood in watching low-quality crap. And the descendants coming for Fushi was kind of sad, plenty of years have passed with those descendants coming over and over so how old is Fushi now? he's probably more than a hundred years old by now, goddamn.

And the last descendant is male, I see where this is going, you won't start shipping these 2 now, right anime? RIGHT?

Always makes me chuckle.

I enjoy Fushi's internal dialogue. What is it with all these Hayase decedents trying to get with Fushi that's f*in creepy. This is a weird focus.
I don't understand why they had to pick such a dark voice for Fushi in the English dub. I try to watch subs but sometimes I wanna be able to do other stuff while watching so dub it is. Gotta love the typical anime lines to show speed and shock. <_>

Wow, that was really fast. It takes time to process all just happened.
I was wondering why all the descendants of Hayase were girls, then suddenly the guy appeared, lol. Also, at what age a descendant passes on Hayase's will? It looked to me they all died young given if they passes on the will before their death.
