| 3/5 We are now in the thick of it and it's progressing a lot faster than i expected. We're already gonna have our first major battle and I can't wait because the fighting animation this episode has me excited. The animation looks top-notch and fluid but the directorial choices made the episode for me. Still, there were times when I felt that Bleach was truly back after the stereotypical trope of shounen protag helping anybody without a proper reasoning but I gotta expect it. | The OP and ED were fine, didn't stand out much. Quilge is fun to watch, poor arrancars though. SakuraUchiha2313 said: I was dissapointed about the funeral scene. It was so much deeper in the manga. I dont know, I think that monologue Byakuya had should've been kept. I'm disappointed with it as well, I had a lot of anticipation for this scene... I was waiting for that part where he leans forward a little, his head hanging low, and has those shadows over him, but it never came. Just that would have conveyed so much more emotion. Byakuya's comment would've helped too. Maybe they found it redundant/ wanted to keep things more silent for atmosphere. |

So far Studio Pierrot seems to be continuing the trend of adapting 4 chapters per episode; the first episode covered 480-484 and this was 485-488, plus it ended on the exact scene I thought it would. If they keep this up though, then next week's episode will be a bit of a slow one for sure -- I might even skip it and wait until I can watch 3 and 4 back-to-back. Either way, this was another solid episode. 4/5 |
| Spectacular production. The direction was brilliant. The only thing I'm not liking is the colouring, especially in Hueco Mundo. The blue tone is too strong. |
| The OP and ED themes here aren't the best that Bleach had to offer but they're still great, even then. The OP visuals' aesthetic choice is something I'm honestly all in for even if it's something to get used to. Apparently from what I found out, SennaRin's lyrics wove together Kubo's volume poems, which is honestly kinda dope, considering the tone of the song itself. I can't stop bobbing to that Sawano beat, though LOL. As for the episode itself, it was just a transitory episode, but it was still bloody good. I loved how they don't hold back on the dark serious atmosphere and tone and the gore and blood spilled left and right. The Quincies are sure not playing around, they're a terrifying threat to the whole world right now, especially when it comes to Yhwach of all individuals. We're in for quite a ride, indeed. |

| Episode 2 is nowhere close to being weak compared to the first one. I feel like it set the tone of the arc perfectly. We're in for a ride with bloody batles, deaths and overall, quite a lot of pain. I loved this episode more than the second one due to how it was adapted. Showed us quite a lot and gave tons of information. Also, rest in peace for Sasabake. Ywach is a savage dude, no wonder he's the king of the Quincies. Talking about peace but goes around killing his subordinates for no reason. Seems like he has quite a personality. On the otherhand, Ichigo remained the same and goes around saving the arrancers. The scene where they've had to get in a line reminded me of the Nazi's. And I was like: "Oh, this reminds me of smth.. oh fuck". The three girls were back, forgot about them even though I got up to date quite recently. I do love the second girl with her hand before her mouth. But, they've got beaten down by the Captain dude. Opening and ending are bangers. Love the opening the most. |

| Not as exciting as the first episode and it felt boring at times but not too shabby. It felt slower but at least not in a painful way like the OG. Pretty well-directed and animated for the most part again at least and some other characters return too which was dope. Memory was tested a bit with some of them since its been a long ass time since I read/saw Bleach but I got through it by the end. OP and ED were the worst parts of the episode though, they felt really bland to listen to. Bleach's normally had bangers for both openings and endings so this was kinda underwhelming, atleast visuals were cool. |
| Damm twisting the camera angle while Ludaas was in that state. Pretty good OP as well. Though brief the enemies infiltration and decimation of squad 1 in just 3 mins was just chilling. The moments afterwards as the team digested the news of hearing so many of their allies get killed was well done. Nel sure made a dramatic entrance. Powerful as she was even Tier proved to be unable to stop Yhwach huh. Curious at how long the arrancar would have lasted if the Tres Bestia were on site at the time of the siege. Looks like our second major invader is going to be a tough cookie as well seeing how he trashed the Bestia that easily. Great ep that featured a great balance of action and narrative advancement while gradually showing just how powerful the enemy really are. Not to mention how ruthless they are as well. Looking forward to seeing how Ichigo fares in this battle though. Pretty good ending theme. |

| I loved the episode! I was very excited seeing Las Tres Bestias again beating quincy soldiers, specially loved seeing my girl Sung Sun jumping in and using her sai weapon against Quilge. Also I'm surprised that the're cutting most of the comedy scenes of the manga or at least tone them down. The director clearly shows that this time the threat is way too real. A pity they removed Byakuya's speech at Chojiro's funeral.  |

| The pacing is consistent with the last episode and I quite like the speed at which it's going so far. The comedy for Bleach is still present and this episode was very bloody, which is a nice touch over the previous season. The Quincy being the enemy in the last arc makes a lot of sense considering their rivalry with the soul reapers and wraps the story up quite nicely. The OP is pretty good, with great visuals and some sakuga moments. The song is nice too. I wouldn't say it's in the top echelon of Bleach OPs, but it's still great nonetheless. Next week looks like it's gonna be a blast. |

| Very super cool episode, my interest has returned when I haven't felt interested in watching battle shounen for a very long time. I'm so happy after watching this second episode. It's going to be a really fun season. Super Episode 1.000.000/5 |
