If you've seen a moderate amount of anime, you have probably seen something like this:    And well, the thing is, getting flicked on the forehead doesn't actually hurt. Like really, I tried. It does not hurt. But anime makes such a big deal out of it, like getting a cold! While some characters are indeed super powered, I believe the root of the issue is that anime characters simply have a very weak forehead. |

| It doesn't hurt like a punch, but yeah it can hurt and it's worse when you're unprepared. Try asking someone you know of moderate force to flick you when you least expect and not when you're prepared to receive one, you'll probably change your mind. And even then, it's annoying as hell. |

| Yes it does hurt quite a bit... Just do that to an object like an old remote or old phone and see how far it goes flying.. There's an anime when they used fingure flicking to fight with bottle caps... it's called bottle necks or something like that.. |

| Them schools you guys went to sound violent... We had a principal like principal kuno from ranma.. I thought he was cosplaying on my 1st day of junior High but apparently not...he liked chasing students trying to get them to cut their hair including the girls.. |

But like that plastic and rubbery material on the current playground is horrible. Plus on the wooden castle they added bars so that kids don't fall down, but I just ended p hitting my back on those because they are too low. Falling down wasn't ever an issue.. I guess you've never tried doing it hard enough it actually does hurt x), I was doing that with my buddies before I even was involved with anime, at Aikido we were doing that to each other, with good technique and speed given to your middle finger while flicking it will hurt, not for a very long time but you'll feel the effects for 1-10 minutes. ateks said: It hurts because it's unexpected. You can do that to yourself to the extend of being hurt, just as written depends on technique and force/speed not the surprise element it does not work like that x) (just did it 5-10 times right now and well I feel some odd feeling -> I have a bigger physical pain resistance than average so I need to do that with more force/more times to feel it). Just to surprise you, you can tickle yourself especially when you have tickles in your whole body as I have (yes I do have everywhere, it is tiring when everytime I am at barber any movement tickles me) |
