| I already love Gojo and this show. Some super clean animation and not to mention how funny the humor is, some of the subtleness is genuinely great |
| Some of the dialogue was a little confusing (I wasn't sure if it was being implied that a Curse killed Yuji's grandfather), I was surprised that Yuji is going to a Jujutsu school, and I don't really like the trope of the effortless elite fighter guy, but this was still a good episode for the most part. The setup is really interesting, reminding me of Elric or Nova, and the powers being utilized remind me of Persona and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure or general real-world shamanism placed into comic-book heroism mode. Also, the really lackluster Aliens Area manga I read earlier totally just copied this show! Anyway, so far Jujutsu Kaisen is pretty neat. |
| Good start to a show. Wonder what Sukuna's real deal is? From what it looks like he's pretty scary but Gojo is underestimating him a lot -- on purpose? Why? Iunno. Fun start! |
