They're just average in text density. And 122 is literally the least-dialogue heavy chapter of AoT. Then tell me how does it work, the titans and the CGI were the real problem of this season, seeing big chonky CG models of titans running around doesn't look good to many people, next few episodes will have less of that, so that means better reception. And like I said, if MAPPA can't pull off the non-titan scenes, then it's okay to lose all hope in MAPPA. |

From here, the next few episodes should be AMAZING. Because I get it, animating titans is hard, but seriously, if they can’t pull off the next few episodes, then it’s safe to lose all hope in MAPPA. Another good news is that Sawano should take over Kohta Yamamoto by this episode, so we can probably expect some GOAT tier soundtracks. During Eren’s shooting practice, I could hear a mix of WMId and something else, could this be it? A new GOAT tier Sawano track? IT’S HERE, CHAD EREN IS HERE, LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLEEEEE.  And I can’t bear to see all the Sasha scenes, it’s just too sad man. Deaths in AoT are common, but Sasha was an OG, I’ve been watching her ever since first season, over 7 years. Every Gabi scene, I just want to smash her face with a rock, I can’t believe I’m saying this, I never thought I’d say this, but I think… I hate her more than Sakura… can you link that? Because we know for SURE that until by episode 12 we have reached chapter 111. That leaves you with 4 more episodes for 2 chapters per episode, meaning 119. |

They pulled of declaration of war with mostly still shots, they can pull off whatever comes next lol. That's what I'm hoping for too! I'm hoping that the people who worked on Assault will do all of the rest of the episodes this season, I don't mind a little CGI here and there if that direction of the episode will be THAT good. They need to nail some great GREAT moments, if they do it then nothing can stop AoT anymore. |

| A flashback episode adapting one chapter again. At this pace, we won't get chapter 122 animated in this part. We got to see our Marley chef Niccolo. I feel sad for him Sasga's gone also sad for her family. Yelena simping Zeke lol. Sasha, don't ask that question again- oh wait she can't, but Onyankopon's response to her was good. Historia in Mappa looks beautiful I've missed her. Look at Eren hiding that secret protecting Historia she looks surprised. Zeke and Levi's interactions are fun to watch, Zeke's hilarious. Man bun Eren looking way too hot. The next episode looks like two chapters will be adapted. |

Wait, I'm confuse are you implying that these flashback scenes were made by Wit studio? Because this was all done by Mappa. I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you worded that wrong, and was just saying that based off these flashback scenes wit did a better job. |

Broooo, s1 have the best direction and animatior for sure. S2 have the best art style. BUT s4 so far have better direction,storyboard and character design than s3. S3 is a mistake onky because Kaizuka is BAD direction. Hayashi and Araki are obviosly better. And then s1>s2>s4>>>>>s3 (if we talk about adaptation ofc, if we talk about plot, well, then s3 and s4 are the best) In addition, pay attention to how much help WIT had in s1 and s2 (s1 is mostly like IG Production and tons of freelancers worl) . S3 is basically almost only WIT, this can give you a clear idea that the WIT as a studio itself is not that great at all. MAPPA, on the other hand, only has 8 months of production, if they had 2 years to produce, wel .. (ofc MAPPA relies on outside help too, every studio does, but not as much as AOT s1). At least S1 is the only too high a bar for any studio, but only because Araki was a director then and well ... you can't manage a project better than Araki, he is the best, lol. |
