There are plotholes or logic holes like why didn't they fucking kill Dewey when they had the chance.
The last few episodes and the whole Earth thing are pissing me off, too and now Maurice with his Oedipus complex and a rifle in his hand, ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!
Eureka 7 gets undeniably worse, so much that I for the first time posted my opinion on of the episodes.
Dewey is Holland's brother. He wouldn't just kill him if he didnt have to. Also Gekkostate didnt know about Deweys plan until afterwards i think. If they knew before they rescued Norb i think Dewey would be dead. Like wise Dewey didnt know Eureka found a partner. If he knew then he wouldn't have let Holland take Norb.
Renton, I think you overdid it with that rock x)
Goddamnit Maurice, don't make the atmosphere more tense that it already is! Those fucking brat -.-
I can understand his pain, but that was no time to let it out. He should have done it sooner, not when everyone is in fucking despair, especially Eureka.
Finally! Dominic as switched side along with the commander. They had all the reasons to do so. Though that's a hard shock for Anemone. There is no happy ending for her in sight :/

The kids were really important for Renton and Eureka's character development. How can you empathize with the main characters and hate the kids at the same time? They are Eureka's kids, and it's awesome seeing how she went from having to ask Renton how to scold Maeter, to calmly assess her love for Maurice, like a real mother would do. I don't hate them at all. Actually seeing the five of them together slowly accepting each other and becoming a family is one of the strongest point of the show.
The politics of that episode was very interesting. I look forward to seeing how Novak responds to the Gekko-Military Alliance. But using stones to hit their arms was emotional nonsense if you ask me and added nothing to the story.
Yes, Eureka is sure changing, that scene was sweet, but they cut it here on TV with the Renton scratching up his arm with a rock ... that's a sure fire way to get an infection.
The revolution won't be televised, it will be written in ray==out. But I fear the military is going to die while everyone in the Gekko (including Dominic) is going to be okay since they have the one of the biggest plot armors I ever saw. Also, FUUCCCKK MAURICE no kid can be this stupid, holy fuck. I liked that everyone made fun of Dominic LMAO. I hope that both Dominic and Renton can stay with their corallians (Well, Anemone isn't really one but whatever) in the end.
Renton's arm after he damaged it for wanting to keep Eureka company because of what she's going through with her body, probably had himself infected there. It was a fine episode, thought Renton despite being dumb, was really good in this episode and didn't care about the barriers whatsoever that he and Eureka have as different kinds of beings, one being human, other being coralian. Kind of a parallel to racism in a way, but also just more of how much he cares for Eureka where even if she transforms or if anything happens to her, he wants to share in her pain and be by her side no matter what. Eureka's speech towards Maurice was good too. Maurice was kind of an asshole but kids have always been assholes in this show so no surprises there.
I am tired and through with saying anything about the kids, I've done it multiple times and I've had enough. The kids need to die I don't give a fuck, kill them right there, full stop.
Dominic and the Captain have finally made up their mind on what side they should be standing on here, their speech was greatly charismatic, though Dominic is just making a fool of himself in front of the Gekkostate members. Still, now that there's support amongst the military, Dewey will face more opposition, I believe by the end of the story, he'll just be left on his own to realize his goal, foolish little Dewey. His ignorance to the pest that lay amongst his ranks will be his undoing.
Oh damn, Renton is losing it, what better opportunity to force the kids on some child labour errand to collect food for Renton!
ugghghhgh...come on, this is like one of THOSE acquaintances that are all drama all the time and you just get worn out from it so that you just don't care
this isn't dramatic, this is "DRAAAAMAAAAAA" in a sing-song voice. it's almost as bad as the kids, but then again they are nothing more than a contrived "drama" device.
this is god-awful writing of the worst order. every time this story does somthing actually interesting it's immediately destroyed by idiotic writing like this that goes on way too long and just loops.
got some character or plot development? hahaha don't worry it's going to be erased in five seconds to start over like Sisyphus rolling the boulder up and down for all eternity.
